Prime Minister Scott Morrison is expected to unveil a stimulus package worth at least $10 billion this week in a bid to stave off a recession.

The government's 'razor gang' will present a proposal to Cabinet on Tuesday, but won't be finalised until at least Wednesday.

The treasurer is canvassing a range of options to boost household spending, but the cash injection will be business and jobs focused.

Josh Frydenberg has jettisoned the forecast $5 billion suprlus and is leaning on the states and territory governments to adopt their own plans.

Smart is offloading 3000 Commonwealth Banks shares on Thursday afternoon at $77.50 then buying them back at $70.08 today for a tidy sum in a couple of days.

The Commonwealth bank isn't going to go broke the lefties continually whinge how banks are crooks..lol
