There is no proper testing for the virus in Austra

From what I have heard you ring up a virus hotline and get no where even if you are fresh off the plane with some symptoms !!

This is how Sth Korea is dealing with it. Instead scumo and frydentured are more concerned about their precious BS economy Sad

Numbers are already increasing at an exponential rate. The time for containment has passed Sad

Hi Nail,
containment can slow it down but I think the big problem are those trains -
people stuffed in like sardines with no fresh air -
you can't open the windows.

I was a little hopeful that the government were quietly doing something behind the scenes.

I was wrong looks like SoSlo is using the do nothing Trump model to maximise the deaths.

They are.

They're planning Scotty from Marketing's next Hawaiian holiday, and stocking up on pork barrels.

Coronavirus symptoms: Brisbane patient with virus urges the world to ‘calm down’

An Aussie woman with coronavirus has urged people to “calm down” after describing symptoms as no worse than a “sore throat and a headache”.

An Australian woman who contracted coronavirus after visiting the UK has urged people to stop worrying after describing her symptoms as “jetlag-like”.

Bridget Wilkins, of Brisbane, was diagnosed last week after flying back from London via Singapore, for a wedding.

While she hasn’t dismissed the seriousness of the virus, she has called for calm to the hysteria after explaining her symptoms were no worse than a “sore throat and a headache”.

The 29-year-old, who missed her friend’s wedding on Saturday after being quarantined in a Brisbane hospital, told 7 News she had “no idea” how she caught the virus.

“The message I’d like to put out to the world is that maybe someone has it already, and it’s very common symptoms, like a headache, or a sore throat or just being tired,” she said.

“(I thought) I had those symptoms because I’d just travelled 30-plus hours. I’ve still got those symptoms, but nothing more than that.”

Ms Wilkins said “it’s certainly not as severe as some headlines are making it (out to be)”, adding that if she didn’t think she had the virus she would have thought it to be jetlag.

“There’s a lot of hype and hysteria on the news around coronavirus,” she said.

“There should be. It’s very serious, particularly for the elderly and people with existing conditions.”

However she said “we have to calm down” saying for most people, like herself, it’s just a long cold that “we can shake off”.

She believes she will be discharged from hospital this week and thanked the “proactive” response by Queensland Health officials regarding her treatment.

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian urged Australians to remain calm as the disease spreads saying “in the vast majority of cases people recover”.

“I also want to stress that it’s very highly unlikely that if you have the virus you will have an extreme reaction or an extreme event related to it.”

Since this is a virus there is no cure you have to let your immune system take care of it.

Not for this one as yet. We do have antivirals. But practice your handwashing,. self-isolate. There are certain populations at risk.

In a time of universal deceit — telling the truth is a revolutionary act.

No evidence whatsoever it can be attributed to George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair (in fact the same guy)

Yep - Western Nations: More apt at Winning Wars than winning  at Medicine... but hey, they came up with a New Name for it, just so they can convince you that they are on top of it!  Wink

Move over Area-51, its now Covid-19.  Grin

Did you see that Doco on the British NHS.
Just another 'Money/Economy' system with the word 'Health' in small print.  Roll Eyes

Don't know what old Scumo had to do to get the top job

but it seems obvious that whatever he did, it was nowhere near as putrid as what most other politicians worldwide did

which is WHY

Scumo knows climate change is a hoax

just like the hoax corona

so I'll vote him back.  He's risen in my estimation
