Colorado has bright orange water all the time but they hoard it and Mexico gets its fair share.

Zombies? They are called "workers" morty torty. Something you know nothing about. You see, people still have to get up and go to their job in order for you and your F A T T E R welfare family in order to have your hoarding taken care of.

No idiot, they are called customers. The same ones who stood in line last Saturday and didn't buy enough for at least two weeks. If you Photoshop out the shopping cart you can see the zombies shuffle!

For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America! God shed His grace on thee,

Well, as long as morty torty is glad he's a hoarder it makes all of your hot water eater problems seem so minuscule doesn't it?

It's not hoarding, it is food insurance. When the best use by date approaches most of it is donated. The fact that we are not in a bind because we keep extra on hand has been a way of life for years. We don't care to stand in line with people who may have the virus and we don't have to!

Sounds like your tank is rusted. If it's that dirty then it's only a matter of time before the tank fails and leaks. You'll need to replace it.

Is there a way to keep 2 weeks supply each week without shuffling like a zombie to restock?

Completely my fault. And I think you are right about it needing replacement. If it has not washed out by now, it definitely needs replacing.

My experience with two weeks of no power to cook meant that we had BBQ dinners. Steaks and/or sausages with boiled vegetables. There were trucks giving out packets of bottled water (free expense). I did the line up at the Salvation Army to get a handout of food to last me the rest of the week. I also go a $200 voucher (card) to use for my next grocery shop.

If people need to raid shopping centres for toilet paper and bottled water, then things must really be bad for them. They can't trust other people.

Bottled water??? It's the third worlders who can't imagine that tap water is safe. I saw an African crone buying a few cases of 750ml 'mineral water ( Roll Eyes)

Chinese "Australians" are going to country town and are stripping their supermarkets.

Community cohesion and enrichment by vibrant, innit.

You try to make reasonable preparations sound like a bad thing. Hoarding would be accumulating things someone has no use for, we are eating our food and drinking our drinks therefor it is all useful. We have cash on hand in case credit cards and ATMs are not available. You would probably consider that a bad thing as well.

The Zombies were limited to two 30 roll packages of toilet paper and two 40 bottle pack of water at both Costco and Sams Club. I expect they will return every Saturday until the government tells them they are safe buying more and more toilet paper and bottled water. They are now clearing out the bread, frozen food and refrigerated meats sections. By next week they may be clearing out the cookies and crackers.  We prefer to eat a lot of fresh produce and fruit, the panicked masses don't appear to have much interest in that section so we find what we want when we go during the lulls. There is nothing in any of the stores worth our time to stand in line for!

Yes, but why do you need so much toilet paper, Mort? You haven't said.

You would have to ask them, we wonder about that too. I buy in bulk when on sale if it is something that has a long shelf life and we will use it.  You can't save money buying stuff you don't need or more than you will ever use.

I've read the panic is in full bloom in Australia as well.
