Yes I found out about mononucleosis back in the 80s RE how cats poo can effect unborn babies if mother had contact with it.
Maybe nowadays it’s known as something else, but I took heed of that advice and never went near cats or had any as pets while kids were growing up and played in their sandpit.

I think the “mono” as in single (cell bacteria?)

It was a long time ago I read up on it, I used to spend any spare time in local council library.

You can have all the social distancing rules you like but there are always going to be people who ignore them.

- Some mentally ill people think that Covid-19 is a hoax / conspiracy

- Some people have the attitude that "no one tells me what to do"

- Some people I have no doubt will deliberately pass on Covid-19 oo

I have seen examples of all these attitudes on this forum (and not surprisingly from the loony right wingers)

Even in Italy, in the towns and cities in lock down, and with all the deaths over there, some people are ignoring orders to stay home and are out wondering the streets. Police are now arresting anyone found wandering the streets.

The less they listen, the longer this will drag on
