Nice 'Grooming' App to pave the way for more such Apps to be incorporated in the future.

.
This App is only good if everyone downloads it, but that won’t happen.
Because 3 reasons.
Some have older mobile phones (mine hubby and his old flip phone)
Some have no mobile phones. Particularly the elderly.
Some are concerned about privacy and whom you spend time with.

Not everybody needs to get it for it to be effective.

Oh? Well that’s interesting.
It just seems incomplete if only part population scattered get the app.
Just trying to get my head around that.

For it to be effective a high % of some demographics will need to use it and some demographics not so important.

The target is 40% but thats not even across the board.

I would have no problem downloading this app if it could be guaranteed now and in the future that it would ONLY be used for the purpose they say it will be used for.........and I am NOT convinced that their assurances are genuine, therefore I will not be using/downloading their app.

The app works well and is unobtrusive on the phone and is easy to flick on and off when you're closer to people.

When you restart the phone it doesn't launch automatically which is nice and when you turn off BT it doesn't nag you, but the status changes to this.

What have we learnt of history?
What was that other adage....oh yes....”if we don’t learn from our past...(will it be repeated?)

but people dont want to be free autonomous beings, responsible for creating their own path forward in life.

they want to live a life of zero responsibility and always have an authority figure to call upon (and blame).

we start this in our schools.

any problem and you have to run off to an authority figure to fix it.
and the cycle continues.
any problme and there has to bea government department to remedy it and to take the blame if it isnt remedied.

so, those same people cant be saying they dont want to submit, they want to live free.

if they do, fine.

we can come to their house tonight, strip them naked, take them to the deep african jungle and drop them in by parachute and see how much they like living life with the evolutionary blowtorch applied liberally to their ass

So in other words even if people have downloaded the app their is no guarantee that they have it on and it's working

Well, yeah ... the app needs to be running. I suppose they can never account for the levels of stupidity out there in the real world.

Mine kept saying 'invalid phone #'. I think I had it right.
It starts off with the +61 prefix, so you put in your Mob # leaving off the 0 at the beginning.
Is that right?
Maybe the site is busy.

If it already shows the +61 prefix then you should put the 0 in at the beginning (0412987654 as an example).

You probably shouldn't put any gaps between the digits either (e.g. 0412 987 654) when you enter the number.
