But in a large group, like humans can maintain, there's plenty of capacity for society to survive with many doing f*ck all...

Thats the general MO of that lot, no moral or ethical compass. North thinks its Autism, I dont. These types of people always put on a facade about being all for social justice and equal rights but disagree with them on any subject and the mask falls off. They must be right and thats it, they will use any means to try and convince themselves they are superior to the person who disagrees with them. Their egos depend on it and projection is part of their game. Logic or facts dont come into it when they enter their episodes. Extending that to the whole of humanity is going to require people to transcend their inner chimp

To be quite honest I think you expect too much of people, humans relatively large brains have managed to help many of us transcend the animal kingdom to a degree and as Desmond Morris puts it, urbanised humans live in the equivalent of a human zoo. Caged animals do exhibit many of the traits that humans do when cooped up out of their natural range. Unfortunately the same ability to provide for every member of the tribe no matter your own ability to contribute or be a worthwhile member of the tribe has bred inherent weakness into the human race. 50,000 years ago if you were too dumb, slow or otherwise challenged you would not survive to pass your genetics on to the tribe, Darwins law would have wiped them out. Modern technology has changed this, we now have an extraordinary number of people in our society who just do not have the inherent mental capability to achieve much of anything. Fat Steve and Janeen would not have existed amongst our ancestors, they would not have survived.
