At least 179 recovered South Korean coronavirus patients have tested positive again for the dangerous bug, officials said.

South Korea’s Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) announced that the tally accounted for 16 new cases detected of patients relapsing from the killer virus, according to media reports.

Patients in their 20s were responsible for the highest number of patients who have retested positive, the agency said.

There were 41 cases (22.9 per cent) of patients in their 20s, followed by 32 cases (17.9 per cent) of patients in their 50s, according to the KCDC.

Jeong Eun-kyeong, director of the KCDC, said that an investigation is underway to determine why the patients were retesting positive, reports the New York Post.

if you think this is anything like FLU...then you need to shut up or do a quick course on what covid exactly is...

I agree about the death count being an issue every day....but some people dont get it at all... like yourself you think its been blown up out of perspective......

yet others think we closed our borders too late...

so its a case of not pleasing everyone....

ok so maybe in hindsight they did over react.....there is no book of rules on this you know..

its better to err on the side of caution than to throw it to the wind and pay a huge price later......

dont forget mechanic...no one knows what damage is done to those who recover from this....down the track it may prove they will suffer chronic. health issues.....

its no mans land at this stage.

And isn’t it funny who the media are silent on those 100s of 1000s of people who have been put out of work while in meltdown over Covid19..

Nazis Facebook are even taking down and closing accounts of anyone who speaks out against it...

Anyway my local Council beat the Yanks to by about a month. Did the same to skate parks here.

And if knuckleheads had turned up there on trail bikes the coppers would have lumbered them.

The sooner people comply with the "temporary" restrictions the sooner they'll be lifted.

btw people who have lost there jobs are being looked after ....

and businesses are being looked after with funding to keep paying their employees.
