yes yadda.
we will have to learn to live with this virus.
we have never developed a vaccine for the HIV virus.
and you have to try really hard to catch that.
he have no vaccine for hepatitis c.
we have to give kids 4 doses of vaccine for whooping cough and we still have outbreaks and we have an antibiotic treatment and people still die from it.
the odds that we will stumble across some 100 % effective vaccine and give it to 7 billion people in 12 months is laughable.
maybe, like HIV we will have some handle on this in 5 to 10 years .
we have been kidding ourselves and hiding under the table like frightened children.
we have been involved in a worldwide freudian "wish fulfilment"
the economy loses 2 % of gdp per month for every month we "cower".
thats money that could be spent on other health initiatives.
and think of this.....
each year older you get, your risk of death goes up 10 %.
so if you get it in 2022, you are 25 % more likely to die.
in you get it in 5 years you are twice as likely to die.
so hit the beach and get that vitamin d up.
stop the fear and get your cortisol under control
hit the gym and get your lungs in peak condition.
and, as gandalf says in Lord of the Rings
'steel yourself"
Premier Daniel Andrews spoke on the radio yesterday.
He claims that Victoria would have had
36,000 deaths at the peak if he did nothing to stop it.
We also would have needed 10,000 ICU beds
with ventilators which we couldn't get.
He has done what he thinks is right.
The death figures from overseas give credence to the models used.
e.g.
USA 42,517 dead
UK 16,509 dead
https://coronaboard.com/
And we are only at the beginning.
Wait until it takes hold in India and Africa.
100 million dead would not surprise me.
bobby the covid deaths for the last MONTH are about the same as the cancer deaths for the last 2 DAYS
Yesterday approximately
26,283 people died of Cancer
24,641 died of Heart Disease
4,300 people died of Diabetes
3,200 people died of Suicide
Moreover, Mosquitoes kill 2,740 people every day, HUMANS kill 1,300 fellow humans every day, and Snakes kill 137 people every day.
