Is this a declaration of war on China by the US ??

Donald Trump says US may seek damages from China over coronavirus

US President Donald Trump says his administration is doing "very serious investigations" into China over the worldwide spread of the coronavirus.

US President Donald Trump suggested on Monday that he may seek damages from China over the coronavirus outbreak which began in the Chinese city of Wuhan and spread around the world.

"We are not happy with China," Mr Trump said at a White House briefing. "We are not happy with that whole situation because we believe it could have been stopped at the source.

"It could have been stopped quickly and it wouldn't have spread all over the world," he said.

"There are a lot of ways you can hold them accountable," Trump said. "We're doing some very serious investigations as you probably know."

It's the next move in the progress of an economic and a second cold war (which probably started before the pandemic but has been accelerated by it)...

After WW1 ...the Spanish Flu took the lives of millions of Children and Adults.

Before WW3 ...the Corona Virus took the lives of (so far) thousands of Oldies and Adults.

First the Economic Sanctions against China.
Aust Government will 'gutlessly' back down from Chinese threats of 'Sanctions' against Aust if it continues to threaten an 'Inquiry' against the Chinks.

...eventually War will be China's only option 'out'.

I also said right from the start of the Global Economy drop that it will be a Great Depression and I was right.
It's been a far more hectic drop in Economy than the first Great Depression that took a few years to eventuate.

There will be no hot war over this... The CCP used police brutality and hired Chinese triad gangs to take on Hong Kong protesters, not the PLA...

They can't win a hot war with the world... Nobody could win.

The CCP will go the way of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union... So long as the leaders and seniors get asylum... They'll only care about themselves in the end... probably a bunch of generals (a military 'junta') controlling the PLA will try to run the country, but it won;t last against the dissent that will follow the end of the CCP.

Maybe not directly against the USA (especially in the Air and with Nukes)... but they can gain much against other 'nearby' nations in their own backyard - especially against Russia that betrayed Communism and converted back to Capitalism.

Russia is also a nuclear nation...

Post CCP China will have its hands full holding the inevitably fragmenting country together... The Muslim western provinces peoples would, no doubt be happy to die for their cause against ethnic Chinese... A 'Chechnya' writ large...

The nation would be in meltdown...

The only out would be western assistance (or at least no resistance) to a crackdown in the western provinces in exchange for the institution of democracy... Taiwan and Hong Kong could and would lead the way in its establishment...

What Taiwan has been nearly 70 years in the waiting for...

[urlhttps://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-04-28/government-calls-chinese-ambassador-boycott-coronavirus-inquiry/12191984][/url]

Trade Minister Simon Birmingham has confirmed the Government has called the Chinese ambassador after he made "threats of economic coercion" over Australia's push for an inquiry into the origins of COVID-19.

Key points:
The Chinese ambassador warned of a possible economic backlash over Australia's push for an inquiry into COVID-19's origins
Simon Birmingham described the comments as "disappointing"
Senator Birmingham confirmed the Government called the ambassador about the threats

Ambassador Jingye Cheng suggested the Chinese public may boycott Australian products or decide not to visit Australia in the future if the Commonwealth Government continued its push for an independent inquiry.

"Maybe also the ordinary people will say why should we drink Australian wine or to eat Australian beef?" he said in an interview with the Australian Financial Review.

Senator Birmingham said the comments were "disappointing" and said the Government's position would not change.

"Australia is no more going to change our policy position on a major public health issue because of economic coercion or threats of coercion, than we would change our policy position in matters of national security," he said.

And what the hell is their fear? What the hell is the CCP so terrified of? An independent inquiry should only confirm what the CCP has been saying happened... Unless, of course, they've been lying!! And the truth is way worse than we currently imagine.

its how BULLIES behave in general nth..

I am bigger than you.... Angry Angry

they have entrenched themselves so deep with our poorer neighbours.... spending up big  and in reality doing good things...that can help the poorer people... BUT.. there is a price to pay....and they will extract it...simply by BULLYING...

if we back down now  we are gone.....simple as that...aussies have to stand by their own brand.....

they are now threatening our meat and wine industries....

well I say two can play at that game... I for one have always supported aussie brands....and will keep on doing so

Particularly when the bully knows its mostly bluster and no substance...

The ordinary Chinese don't buy our wine and meat products because they want to help us or our economy... They buy them because they like them and know our higher quality products beat their overpriced homemade vinegar and rotten meat.

Australian products are highly respected by the Chinese....

And not just wine and meat... Have you been into a pharmacy and seen Chinese people buying up huge quantities of Australian-made products, like baby formula... At least they know its real baby-powder and not their homebrands' plaster-of-paris and chalk
