Piaget wrote about cognitive development. Anytime you feel like making stuff up, you say Piaget said it.

Now this, you see, is the problem with uncultivated minds. I don't blame our education system. You can't make people tell the truth. Oh, you can show them how to research and who to read and how to provide a reference, but do they do it?

No, it's too hard. Instead, they just say Piaget said this or Paretto said that, not for a second even bothering to read what they really wrote.

Just think how easy it is to do a Wikipedia search on Piaget or Paretto or Jesus Christ. Do you imagine people don't do this? Do you think we just think Aquascoot said it so it must be right?

Come come, dear, you've cried wolf so many times we now think you must be wrong. Just once, it would be nice to read you write something right. Why don't you give it a go? Instead of just blurting something out, why not bother to check it first? You can do it, we know you were taught to read and write, it's not the teachers' fault.

Go on, give it a go. Starting from now.

Jean wrote a whole series on it  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

—How do you think the game of marbles began ?—
At first, children looked for round pebbles.— And the rules ?
—I expect they played from the coche. Later on, boys
wanted to play differently and they invented other rules.—
And how did the coche begin ?—I expect they had fun
hitting the pebbles. And then they invented the coche.—
Could one change the rules ? — Yes.— Could you ? — Yess
I could make up another game. We were playing^ at home
one evening and we found out a new one [he shows it to us].
—Are these new rules as fair as the others?—Yes.—
Which is the fairest, the game you showed me first or
the one you invented ?—Both the same.—If you show
this new game to the little ones what will they do ?—
Perhaps they will play at it.—And if they forget the
square game and only play this one, which will be the
true game, the new one that will be better known, or the
old one ?—The best known one will be the fairest.”
G ro s (13 yrs. at the fourth stage in the practice of the
rules) has shown us the rules as we saw above. " Did
your father play that way when he was little ?—No,
they had other rules. They didn’t play with a square.—
And did the other boys of your father's time play with
a square ?—There must have been one who knew, since
we know it now.—And how did that one know about
the square ?—They thought they would see if it was nicer
than the other game.— How old was the boy who invented
the square ?—I expect thirteen [his own age].—Did the
children of the Swiss who lived at the time of the battle
of Morat play at marbles ?— They may have played with
a hole, and then later on with a square.—And in the time
of David de Purry [a periwigged gentleman whose
statue on one of the public squares of Neuch&tel is known
to all] ?—I expect they had a bit of a lark too !—Have
rules changed since the square was invented ?—There
may have been little changes.—And do the rules still change ?
—No. You always play the same way.—Are you allowed
to change the rules at all ?—Oh, yes. Some want to, and
some don’t. ‘ I f the boys play that way (changing something) you have to play like they do.—Do you think you
could invent a new rule ?—Oh, yes . . . [he thinks];
you could play with your feet.—Would it be fair ?—I
don’t know. It’s just my idea.—And if you showed it to
the others would it work ?—It would work all right. Some
other boys would want to try. Some wouldn’t, by^Jove!
They would stick to the old rules. They’d think they d have

less of a chance with this new game.—And if everyone
played your way ?—Then it would be a rule like the others.—
Which is the fairest now, yours or the old one ?—The
old one.—Why ?—Because they cant cheat. (Note this
excellent justification of rules : the old rule is better
than the innovation, not yet sanctioned by usage, because
only the old rule has the force of a law and can thus
prevent cheating.) And if nearly everyone played with
their feet, then which would be fairest ?—I f nearly
everyone played with their feet, then that would be the
fairest.”—Finally we ask Gros, “ Suppose there are two
games, an easy one where you win often, and a difficult
one where you win seldom, which would you like best ?—
The most difficult. You end by winning that w ay’*

Equilibration as a central concept in piaget’S THEORY According to Piaget, models of equilibration are involved in all questions about cognitive development. Cognitive development, for him, is a succession of constructions with constant elaborations of novel structures. Moreover, for Piaget, this implies a process that improves existing structures and replaces temporally achieved equilibria through re-equilibrations. This process is designated by Piaget as equilibration, and coming to grips with it is the central issue for many of his works. Piaget’s account of equilibration is not only crucial for understanding his approach, it also sets his theory apart from most other theories concerning cognitive development. Moreover, Piaget, in his long career, has developed his own terminology that suits his own intentions better, but this terminology makes the challenge for new uninitiated readers even more daunting. It might be in order, therefore, to characterize the equilibration idea avoiding Piagetian jargon. So, I will first give a brief expository definition and elaborate upon it by expanding on all terms used in - and left out of - this brief definition. Subsequently, I will go deeper into matters now based on Piaget’s own formulations and review some of the central issues and perspectives involved. This review is roughly structured along these perspectives with a focus, first, on biological systems, next on the psychological subject, and third on the epistemological subject. Finally, conclusions and evaluation will follow.

Good, you're starting, dear. That's more like it

Now the trick is to put these words and ideaa into an argument. I don't think it'll help to suggest the Chinese are playing marbles, but you can try it out, see how it goes.

We're here for you.

understanding the laws of quantum mechanics allows you to build a computer.
the user may not know that but its still crucial.

understanding the laws of equilibration, trust, game theory and the emergence of a shared morality allows you to construct a society that works.

the third principle of jean piaget was that human interactions , if they were to be successful ahd to be good for both parties, good for both parties families, good for both parties communities, good for both parties environments,

good today, good next week and good into the future.

you really should try ti develop an understanding of how human interactions can be iterative.

i know for a lot of lefties , they dont want to have to think too much.
just "rich guys are bad and oppressors".
an ideology you can learn in 15 minutes.

maybe go read some piaget and develop some nuance instead of ideological smugness  Wink

No - you are just an uncomprehending silly duck, remember?  (Er... no, you don't). You understand nothing and sneer at everything.

If you were born here then you would know (should now) that you were born into a Britannic country. The Paki arse bandit wants to be both 'grew here' and be against Australia's Britannic heritage. His repeated pretensions to 'British' heritage seems to me to be the obfuscation of an Irish/Paki navy with the full anti-Anglo animus.
After all, our dear Aboriginal compatriots are animated by the Irish mindset of seething and resentment against anything English which they have been drinking in from the days of missions. Scratch an Aboriginal activist and you will soon find a Paddy.

The Paki arse botherer is aspiring to be a Paddy. He has the level of resentment and rancour.

The rightists here make the argument against George. The fact is that it isn't about George just that Georges murder was the straw that broke the camels back.

Do you all know that the police have murdered another black man since George. This poor black man went down shot twice in the back for the crime of falling asleep in his car.

Quote:
........... The authorities said the man, Rayshard Brooks, 27, had run from the police on Friday night after failing a sobriety test and grabbing a Taser from an officer during a struggle with him. Ms. Bottoms said that security footage appeared to show that Mr. Brooks had fired the Taser toward the officer, who was chasing him before he was killed           ..............

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/06/13/us/atlanta-police-shooting-rayshard-brooks.ht...

Quote:
............ The officer found Rayshard Brooks in the car, and tried to awaken him. He instructed Brooks to move his car out of the drive-through lane, and repeated the instruction after Brooks fell asleep again. Brosnan then radioed dispatch to request that a DUI certified officer be sent out, Garrett Rolfe, an officer on the Department’s High Intensity Traffic Team DUI task force, responded.[11] Brooks gave inconsistent answers to Rolfe's questions, claimed that he did not drive the car, and was disoriented as to where he was, stating that he believed he was in Clayton County about 10 miles away.[12]

Rolfe administered a series of field sobriety tests and asked if Brooks would consent to using a breathalyzer, which he did saying "I don't want to refuse anything". Brooks' blood alcohol level was 0.108, which was over Georgia's legal limit for driving is 0.080.[11][13][14] When Rolfe told Brooks that he was being placed under arrest for DUI and asked "can you put your hands behind your back for me",[15][12] Brooks broke away and was wrestled to the ground where he punched Rolfe.[16]

During the struggle an officer said, "You're going to get tased! Stop fighting ... hands off the taser."[11][14] According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI), witnesses reported (and video shows) that Brooks wrested away one officer's taser and ran away as the officers chased him. Video footage then shows Brooks turn toward Rolfe while running, points the taser in Rolfe's direction and fires it.           ............

One applies Paiget to a discourse of cognitive development. One applies quantum mechanics to a discourse on the nature of reality. One does not apply Piaget and Hawkings to a discourse on Cold War ideology and silly rants about leftists. That would be what psychologists prior to Piaget called moronic.

But I see the old boy's popped in, so it must pique the interest of the dead.

The Left's position is summed up by a suitably... er... diverse little elf:

The intelligent response, sure to be ignored:

The black community that is behind Black Lives Matter is frequently wrong… They make terrible arguments... [But] if you contradict [these terrible arguments] then it must mean that you don’t think black lives matter… and that’s not how science works… If a person says, “Two times three equals a chicken,” that person is wrong. I don’t care how trans they are. We have to have the ability, inside of a free society, to treat each other as equals.
And if I can’t tell you you’re wrong, you’re not my equal.

Er, you don't think black lives matter. You despise them. You're the one who invented the term tinted. You're the one who calls silly old K a dirty Paki Bastard just because.

Now we all know silly old K's a second generation Scottish immigrant who GREW here. And we all know you're a half-Kraut cheese-snorter who FLEW here. Your yeah-but-no-but excuse for sheer hypocrisy is "correlation-not-causation": Niggras, Boongs, PBs and assorted tints are hideous people who should be excluded at all costs: banned, carpet-bombed and SENT BACK TO WHERE THEY CAME FROM.

We know this because that's what you say, dear boy. So stop playing the no-speaka-da-English victimhood card and admit it. You flew here, you think you're ENTITLED to be here, and even silly old PBs like Karnal should be BANNED and kept off your streets.

Say that, old boy. You know you want to.

This is why i love free speech. Idiots like the Paki Arse Bugger can freely display their rancorous stupidity.
You are stupid enough to rally FOR any 'flew here' who wants to undermine and destroy the Britannic heritage of this country and equally vehemently attack anyone, like me, who wants to uphold it!!

You are an evil. And you can't argue because you are confused and/or evil.  You have no idea, you just sneer and wank and sneer. Too much Fvckauld and Marx and haunting toilets have rotted your 'mind'.

Looks like the result of some high quality drugs ?

Seething resentment and rancour. Imagine, the old boy's so desperate to sniff out stool he'll pretend to be anything other than a flush-faced old Kraut, the kind who stand there peering through their lace-curtains timing the garbos; a curtain-peeper, a bin-straightener, a miserable old Teutonic fool who doubles as an Anglophile.

And we wouldn't have it any other way.

Cheesy Cheesy you ARE an Irish-Paki!

Bloomsday was yesterday. Pile on the words, paki, your rancorius, resentful irish-paki heart comes through.

As you can see, he's a real Black Lives Matter enthusiast too. And a monarchist.

He gets his Celts mixed up, but otherwise, the old boy's a real blue-blood. One of his ancestors knocked up dear old Vic, or Albert. They were all dead at the time, but it's the thought that counts.

If it's rockin don't bother knockin, no?

understanding the laws of quantum mechanics allows you to build a computer.
the user may not know that but its still crucial.

understanding the laws of equilibration, trust, game theory and the emergence of a shared morality allows you to construct a society that works.

the third principle of jean piaget was that human interactions , if they were to be successful ahd to be good for both parties, good for both parties families, good for both parties communities, good for both parties environments,

good today, good next week and good into the future.

you really should try ti develop an understanding of how human interactions can be iterative.

Incorrect

The cold war and leftist ideology
Are entirely the matter of people's personal beliefs systems

You think that these are all tied to politics the economy and the rational mind

a people's beliefs systems and political ideologies
Are actually tied to their personal psychology
Their emotional state and their cognitive development

Understanding Piaget is way way more important then understanding marx or Keynes
