There is nobody more responsible for the COVID-19 spike in Victoria than Premier Daniel Andrews due to his belated and weak response to the Black Lives Matter protests in Melbourne according to Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“Daniel Andrews is trying to use the increase in virus cases to try and divert attention away from the crisis that’s engulfed Victorian Labor all last week,” she said.
Victoria has recently experienced a spike in coronavirus cases with the state recording over 100 current active cases of the virus, forcing the premier to hold off on planned easing of lockdown restrictions.
Victorians have as a result been told to wait another month after initially expecting to return to normality because of the government’s poor response to the protests and the Cedar Meats outbreak, Ms Credlin said.
“Why should every Victorian be made to suffer even more financial loss, and even more inconvenience, and even more loss of freedom?”
“All because the Andrews government is good at bullying ordinary people but can't say "no" to leftist protesters, and Labor donor mates.
“What's becoming increasingly clear is that Victoria under Dan Andrews is a rotten borough that's holding back the rest of the country.”
