based on?

Conservative estimate.
More like 400 police car trips along that road in 4 days.
It's a major highway.

So it's a number you plucked out of your arse based on fantasy and your usual stupidity?

There are no police car meters to know the numbers
so an educated conservative guess is good as you'll get.
Why are you being pedantic like Aussie?

I agree, cods.

But, this is just an indication of the sort of attitudes that are prevalent in our society today.

"She'll be right"
"Not my job"
"Nothing to do with me"

and so on.

I've seen it getting worse and worse over the years. Nobody wants to take responsibility for anything, so it would seem.

Reminds me of this from The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy (Life, the Universe and Everything):

https://hitchhikers.fandom.com/wiki/Somebody_Else%27s_Problem_field

Quote:
Any object around which an S.E.P. is applied will cease to be noticed, because any problems one may have understanding it (and therefore accepting its existence) become Somebody Else's Problem. An object becomes not so much invisible as unnoticed.

Yep, lots of that around nowadays. Much more so than when Douglas Adams wrote the book in 1982.

Good post.
Example of Somebody Else's Problem.

In an 80km/hr zone -
on the Princess Highway not far from where I live
there was a tree branch that was blocking half
of the right hand lane out of the 3 lanes.
It was causing cars to swerve from the right hand lane to the middle lane to avoid it.
Obviously it was a major traffic hazard.
It was still there 4 days later so
I pulled over to the side of the road and when there were no
cars I ran across & moved the heavy branch on to the median strip - grass area.
I drove away.

I estimate that over 100 police cars would have driven down that road in 4 days
yet they did nothing.
I also estimate that over 200,000 cars went past and did nothing over the 4 days.

I was the only person who removed the hazard.
That just goes to show you the attitude of most people in our concrete jungle.
People don't care about anything even if it affects them.
It's always Somebody Else's Problem.

I'm not being pedantic, I'm just highlighting your stupidity.  No way there were 400 police cars going past in 4 days ... not unless there was a cop shop just around the corner. Police don't rely on the highway patrol like they used to ... they have speed cameras to take your money now.

You just made up a number because you thought it sounded good ...all you did was highlight your stupidity

I said 100 police cars -
that's 25 per day - a very reasonable figure -
only about 1 per hour.
I've seen 5 or even 10 per hour on that road
you pedantic twit.

See, you're obsessed with gays. No matter what is said your first thought is always about gays.

Lube is used in hetro sex as well you dopey twat.

Stop pretending you're not gay

Is that what you told Greggy when you groomed him?

Aqua practices grooming on his horses.

sadly it wont be long before we step over a dead body..its a bit like someone dying a pretty lonely death and then have dozens of people turn up to their funeral....its all about making oneself feel better....

now we have people in Vic in the lockdown suburbs  refusing to take the tests when they knock on their doors........should it be an OPTION do you think???

as far as I am concerned.. there is the paddy wagon feel free to hop in....and maybe 14 days in jail instead of a nice hotel room     will change their mind....grrrrrrrr

dear Cods,
the tests are not absolute.
It can say today that you haven't got it and
then tomorrow another test will say you have got it.

Does the test show anti-bodies?
I don't think so.
It's a much simpler test.
I would like a more powerful anti-body test
to see if I ever had it.
