I can’t agree that Daniel Andrews is at fault with this spike.
He wouldn’t have wanted Victoria to be held back or the cause for other states staying in lockdown.

He was diligently onto us all the time about rules, now he has the defence force coming in to help. Does that sound like a premier not wanting to get it under control?
People in those hot spot areas are the ones at fault. Shows the mentality of some of them.
The rest of us in Victoria are going to suffer for that?

She's right.

Daniel Andrews should resign.
The Andrews government is good at bullying ordinary people but can't say "no" to leftist protesters, and Labor donor mates.
He did nothing about the BLM protestors spreading Covid-19.

This is some of the most arrogant nonsensical beat-up from a pro-Lib commentator I have ever seen. All you're proving by reposting this crap is you're very easily gulled and don't bother doing your own research.

We're talking about a dozen cases a day in Victoria. Places like Arizona (similar population to Victoria) have thousands a day. USA, Brazil, UK top the death toll. I have not seen anything from Crudlin about those places because they're all led by right-wing governments. Nor did she squeal her Lib bile about Berejilian in NSW and demanding her resignation over Ruby Princess or the outbreak in the nursing home.

This thread is predicated on a load of rubbish.

The Andrews government is good at bullying ordinary people but can't say "no" to leftist protesters ...

"Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews says even if people won't be fined for attending a protest in solidarity with Black Lives Matter, they shouldn't go."

"Victoria Police don't think it is feasible to arrest or fine people for breaking COVID-19 rules at the Melbourne event, which more than 17,000 have said online they will attend.

"Premier Daniel Andrews said that didn't mean the restrictions shouldn't be followed, saying "they're there to keep people safe".

"I'm not going to the protest. I would suggest to other people they shouldn't go to the protest either," he told reporters on Thursday."

"Let's not do anything on the weekend that compromises safety, let's not do anything on the weekend that potentially spreads the virus."

Hmm. Anything on Sky News should be treated as biased,
ESPECIALLY when it's a Liberal party member writing the articles. Who is Peta Credlin again?  Roll Eyes

Peta-Louise Mary Credlin is an Australian political commentator and former public servant who served as Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Tony Abbott from September 2013 to September 2015. She was previously chief of staff to Abbott as Leader of the Opposition.

Now think carefully. Do you really think she's unbiased? Or is she just another one of the huge pile of right-wing commentators pushing the Liberal party agenda?

Yes ... that's being so forceful Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Mass(40,000) ignoring of the health regulations yet individuals & businesses getting fined for not adhering to the letter of the regs.

Sounds like he & other state leaders are lacking testicles or guts to put these Jacks back in the box.

Like all Governments, Daniel goes after easy targets -

it's easier to single out one person and fine them than
to chase 1000s at a mass gathering.
Also - he won't dare fine Muslims for spreading disease -
he'd be called an Islamophobe.

He should have made sure that those who spread this disease
and broke the laws about social distancing would be punished.
He's weak and not a good leader.
