Cases on the rise.
Time to try something different.
What's in place is not working.

It's only been in place since 6pm yesterday.

Undecided

Most of the infections and deaths come from aged care facilities.

I think Daniel Andrews is way out of control.

He didn’t even give an extra week for a chance for the compulsory masks to work.
In any case – in years from now I honestly believe that all
these lockdowns will be considered futile attempts to stop an airborne virus.
It cannot be stopped.

Dan couldn't wait a couple of more days to count the effect of masks, today the numbers were down but total lock down ensures Dan will be seen as doing all he can, destroying people and the economy in his path to get a medal.

Jesus Christ, when will you learn?

It's not about stopping the virus - it's about flattening the curve so that our health system isn't overwhelmed.

If we had no lock-downs, our hospitals would be stretched way past their limits and you'd have people dying from all sorts of things that wouldn't normally be fatal.

There are thousands of spare beds around OZ ready for the virus and we could make more, over reaction panic stations pull all stops out.

FFS the numbers were down, no sign of increasing exponentially over the last couple of weeks and the mask effect hadn't even kicked in, Dan wants a medal.

No, you are.

After all this time you still don't understand that it's about flattening the curve, not stopping the virus.

I'm sick of hearing empty slogans.
We have already been through great hardship
and sacrificed much only to be told it wasn't enough.

Premier Daniel Andrews has declared Victoria a "State of Disaster" as he loses control of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Declaring a state of disaster gives the Premier even more power to enforce his original State of Emergency restrictions and add more exceedingly harsh rules, including a curfew.

Meanwhile, the Premier continues to avoid taking any responsibility for his hotel quarantine debacle that caused this outbreak.
