I think Daniel Andrews is way out of control.

He didn’t even give an extra week for a chance for the compulsory masks to work.
In any case – in years from now I honestly believe that all
these lockdowns will be considered futile attempts to stop an airborne virus.
It cannot be stopped.

Jesus Christ, when will you learn?

It's not about stopping the virus - it's about flattening the curve so that our health system isn't overwhelmed.

If we had no lock-downs, our hospitals would be stretched way past their limits and you'd have people dying from all sorts of things that wouldn't normally be fatal.

FFS, you people are thick   Roll Eyes

Daniel stands on the beach telling the tide not to come in.
He thinks he can control nature.
Is he mad?

No, you are.

After all this time you still don't understand that it's about flattening the curve, not stopping the virus.

I'm sick of hearing empty slogans.
We have already been through great hardship
and sacrificed much only to be told it wasn't enough.

Premier Daniel Andrews has declared Victoria a "State of Disaster" as he loses control of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Declaring a state of disaster gives the Premier even more power to enforce his original State of Emergency restrictions and add more exceedingly harsh rules, including a curfew.

Meanwhile, the Premier continues to avoid taking any responsibility for his hotel quarantine debacle that caused this outbreak.

Aged care is federal. Its the Morrison government. The employment regs, and the care facility regs. The ones that come under state control are ok mainly. Its the Liberal Party Scott government ones that have most of the infections.

The whole thing is a gigantic stuff up.

A doctor in Melbourne on ABC 24 tonight said
that some of his patients still hadn't received
the results of their Covid-19 tests after 12 days.
Of course they had been mixing in the community
thinking that the result must be negative.
In fact some of them were positive.

Yes Bobby I can only imagine the bureaucratic nitpicking nightmare going on in our hospitals at the moment
My relative who is a nurse at a small regional hospital in Queensland
they have been told that any patient who spikes the temperature is to be treated as coronavirus until the result comes back
This hospital usually has four patients to a room
So if someone's spikes a temperature
The other three patients who may will be infected by the way
R moved to other rooms or transferred by paramedics to other facilities
Queensland have hired nurses out of retirement who have no idea about how to wear PPE
So a nurse he doesn't know how to put on PPE properly
Is moving patients around the hospital
They moved one patient to the paediatric Ward
Because that was the only free bed
then they discovered that he could not use the toilet or shower so they have to willing through the entire Hospital to go to the toilet

This is what happens when you have micromanagement
The whole hospital has ground to a halt
the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing

I believe there are two patients in Australia who have died from ruptured appendix
Because everybody is fiddling around with these ridiculous protocols

And this is in Queensland where we have virtually no cases

I would seriously like to hear from the Frontline staff in Melbourne's hospitals
And even worse in Melbourne's aged care facilities
Where I am sure there are ridiculous scenarios like this going on on a minute by minute basis
Spreading the disease everywhere

This is what happens when you let public servants try and tackle a virus
Dan is just the king of the public servants

if you can't contain the virus in a quarantined hotel with security guards
you tell me how Dan proposes to contain the virus in ar health system
Which is mayhem and chaos at the best of times

And I would imagine half the staff are home sick
Or in 14 days quarantine
I don't think it's that the health system is over run
I would just imagine that the health system can't cope with the 6 million micromanagement rules that moronic health bureaucrats have imposed on people trying to cope

That is so sad.
How many people die every year from negligence
or mistakes made in hospitals?

The politicians just make it up as they go.
Masks should have been compulsory at least 3 months ago.
They still aren't in Sydney even though Melbourne
should be a huge warning to them.

Dan has given the cops extraordinary powers -
here's one of many:

without a warrant, enter any premises
and search for and seize any thing;

https://justiceconnect.org.au/resources/how-the-victorian-governments-emergency-...

I am wondering if any of this will end up in the High Court of Australia?
It just doesn't legal.

Mandatory self isolation after testing has been 14 days minimum from the outset of the virus strategies .............

not 12!!!

Those who were tested should have stayed the pharque at home.

This is the whole problem, people are stupid ... people continue to create new outbreaks/clusters because they will not use commonsense or do as they're directed.

It's not politicians ...... it's the numptys in our society.  Roll Eyes

Are you one of those numptys???

If the test is negative then you don't need to stay at home.
People are waiting too long for results -
they should have results in 24 hours not 12 days.

PS -
I think many people are not getting tested if
they have a minor symptom such as a sore throat
because it disrupts their life too much.
