I agree.
100s of 1000s of Victorians have crossed the borders into other states -
the virus will now be spread all around Australia.

Yep, another big mistake by the Victorian government.

Should have closed their borders immediately instead of giving people enough time to leave the state.

If they can lock down public housing tower blocks with no notice they could have closed their borders as soon as it was announced.

Yep, agreed.

The 36 hours notice, or whatever it was, was nonsense.

Just lock it down.

It avoids the panic buying too.

Covid-19 is on it's way to Perth.

Indeed.

Thanks to selfish Victorians, AFL football, and bikies.

Yep.

288 new cases since yesterday.

The worst yet for Victoria.

That ain't good.

I doubt the hospitals are overrun on those levels.
It will probably be a similar graph in most states in  3 weeks.
We must get the economy moving now as this is going to require lots of expensive testing and treating for many years.
Like WW2
We need to prepare for a 6 year battle and love the challenge.
Covid is like the Japanese coming down the Kokoda track.
Sneaky, ruthless, takes no prisoners.

We must man up and enjoy the fight.
We need to steel ourselves and not flinch

You dodging the issue of you making a silly statement about panic gun buying?

I think if we were America, people in Melbourne would be queued up at gun stores.
Yeah.

People are jumpy.

We need a leader with the personality of Churchill to calm the farm
Currently politicians don't seem to have a strategy.
Except

Lets wait for a vaccine.

People do need a war frame of mind in a " battle"

Would Churchill have won WW 2 if he

Fear mongered
Dithered
Closed all the factories so no one got killed by a bomb
Told everyone to hide under their beds.

Britain would have ended up a basket case.

Those are two factually correct statements though.

He's a self-confessed sex offender, they let you do it remember, and an alleged child rapist alongside Epstein.

If he's guilty of the latter, well that remains to be seen, hence the "alleged".

But then I'm an alleged Tim Tam thief according to my wife, but I know it was either her or the kids so he could be innocent.

Unlike those on the right, I do at least believe in the presumption of innocence until proven guilty.

Indeed.

But, its already here, just not in the numbers we've seen in Victoria so far. We hope.

As I said in another post a few days back, judging by the letters in The West Australian over the past few days the natives are getting restless regarding all of these "returned travellers".

Here's another one from today's paper. And, yes, I would also like to see an answer from Scott Morrison. But, I won't be holding my breath.

that's actually good for his therapy.

How would that change the fact that Donald Trump is a self-confessed sex offender and an alleged child rapist?
