OK - it's not any Govt. website I can find but it says here:

https://www.heraldsun.com.au/coronavirus/everything-you-need-to-know-about-melbo...

DO YOU HAVE TO WEAR A MASK WHILE DRIVING ?

If you are driving in a car by yourself or with a member of your household,
you do not need to wear a face mask but you should carry one with you for when you exit the vehicle. If you are in a car with other people for work or rideshare purposes then you must wear a mask.

Solved 👍

Otherwise.... there was a fine line bordering between ridiculousness and sensibility.

Yes -

it's not any Govt. website I can find

You should not be advised of the law by the Herald Sun newspaper.
The Govt. website should be correct.
It shows that the Govt. can’t keep pace with the crap coming out of  Daniel Andrew’s mouth.

Daniel Andrews has the power of God in his hands yet
he has all the frailties of any human -
he makes terrible mistakes.

Well, what a surprise.

Panic buying for face masks, coverings in Melbourne stores ahead of deadline

https://www.9news.com.au/national/coronavirus-face-masks-panic-buying-in-melbour...

Quote:
Melbourne stores are facing a rush for face masks before they are made compulsory from Thursday.
The measure has triggered a spate of panic buying in shops and some retailers have introduced limited purchases of masks across Victoria.

Makes a change from toilet paper and pasta, etc. for the moment, at least.

Quote:
Woolworths is now allowing only one pack per customer, Aldi two packs, while Bunnings has restricted masks to 50 per customer as authorities warn retailers against price gouging.

Price gouging? Here in Australia? Surely not? Roll Eyes

Bloody Victorians    Roll Eyes

They didn't see this coming?

Here in WA we're doing just fine, but I still have a few masks stashed away in a drawer.

Things could change at any minute, especially with Victorian football teams being allowed to enter our state, and if they do I'll be prepared.

Yep, I don't suppose a lot of these idiots have considered something like 'staying at home unless you really, really need to go out for a reason' on their list of options, then they wouldn't need to stock up on masks - most of them probably wouldn't consider it for a second.

Of course, you'll also have the ones who are stocking up hoping to sell them for a huge profit on eBay, etc.

Ah, but that's for the northern hemisphere. We could be more fortunate - might be September?

Could be.

As soon as the weather starts to warm up, it will miraculously disappear.

Just in time for the AFL Grand Final, I'm sure.

Didn't happen with COVID-19 in the United States. Things have gotten a lot, lot worse for them during their summer season.

Florida USA is boiling hot yet this virus is thriving.
