It’s like a Groundhog Day nightmare.
Every day I hope to hear good news, maybe the infection numbers lower ... but no... record breaking amounts instead! I squirm. Feel trapped and hopeless here  Embarrassed

If these masks don’t help diminish the spread.... well if the number of infections isn’t lowered each day.... then I think stage 4 lockdown will be imminent.

Are you happy with your leader?

With -
90 per cent of people are failing to self-isolate when they become unwell -
maybe it's not Dan's fault?
It's the society we live in.

I bet it's pure Aussies as well.
Shows you the real personality of human beings.
They're a nasty selfish lot.
I think it's the big city that breeds them -
the concrete jungle.

I agree with what Bobby says.
This has shown (exposes) the society we live in.
Selfish and “don’t tell me what to do I have rights” bull shyte attitude.

Have they listened to the medics taking swabs for testing to isolate until results?
Have people self isolated when tested positive?
Daniel Andrews faces the cameras and press every day including weekends, and is he wasting his time?
Some say he’s a dictator but it seems not enough after all.
Look at the mess Victoria is in.
I’m astounded the other nights some party of 20 people in some city apartment. And the other one recently with 30 or more partying when the cops busted in on them, half of them scurried off like rats in the night.
Why? Because they knew they were doing the wrong thing?

Are people really that stupid?
This attitude it won’t happen to them, it’s only “other” people that catch covid is a false sense of arrogant confidence.

The more deliberate f c k ups selfish people do, the more it’s f c king the rest of us!! In many ways!

As for those discreet f ks with people in hotel quarantine... not so discreet covid has now wildly spread that love result to the rest of us!
I wonder if some of them are even feeling a little guilt ???

You are so right, Lols... in every way.

And on the news tonight 'every cluster in NSW has been traced to contact with Victoria' .. stupid bastards let them through and spent their time in conference instead of acting... that's Gladys for you... not even good for one thing..... that we know of....

Jeez - what real Armenian woman would not have a strong family setup?  Does she munch rugs or something? If you look at basic ethnic differences, she's not THAT ugly that she can't get a bit... I've had Med ladies with bigger noses than that, and they are excellent....

I think what breeds them Bobby is exactly what I have been saying since the start

People need to bounce out of bed with a positive plan for the day
that's why I keep telling you to work on your diet and your physical fitness
This gives your day a sense of meaning
And when people have a sense of meaning they don't act selfishly

Currently I think many people are bouncing out of bed
Feeling like a victim of the virus
They are tormented by their anxiety
And they have no positive path forward

And when you don't have a positive ambition
Negative ambitions are absolutely guaranteed to fill your mind

You become self absorbed
Self-pitying
Why me
What I like to call the
Crybaby mentality

The crybaby mentality is appropriate for a young infant
But it demolishes the mental and physical health of a self-actualized adult

There is always something you can do that is positive
Always

Look at the people on this forum who are kind of disgusting
Everything to them is negative
They are bitter resentful angry bullies
You know the type I mean
They follow you around
Trying to demolish your mental health

Don't let them because your physical health is intimately tied to your mental health
1000 push-ups 1000 sit-ups
Some meditation
A green vegetable juice smoothie
And a jog around the block

You will brush this virus aside like the strong and resilient creature that you have constructed for yourself

Thanks Lols,

latest news -
ABC 24 is predicting that fist fights will start up today
when some people won't wear compulsory masks
and others will challenge them.
It will also be difficult for supermarket security
guards telling shoppers they can't enter without a mask.

Expect fights on our news tonight.

Victorians are acting like selfish Americans.

But it's not fair to just blame them.

We're, in QLD, just as bad.  We're just lucky that it was another state to have their outbreak first.

Nobody is properly social distancing here.

People are still having house parties.

I still have people trying to shake my hand at meetings with clients, supposedly smart business owners...

Nobody in the country should be critical of Victoria.

We should be thankful for the reminder that the virus is still out there, it's still as contagious as it always was, we have to do the right thing, still and for months and months to come.

Be better than Americans, it's not hard, but it's important.

This of others, for once, even selfishly, because it will come back to you in spades.

Melbourne is an example of what will face other cities in Australia.

They should consider themselves fortunate they're not living in someplace like Colombia.

Colombia: Armed Groups’ Brutal Covid-19 Measures

https://www.hrw.org/news/2020/07/15/colombia-armed-groups-brutal-covid-19-measur...

Quote:
Armed groups in Colombia have committed killings and other abuses against civilians in an effort to enforce their own measures to prevent the spread of Covid-19, Human Rights Watch said today.

Since the arrival of the novel coronavirus to Colombia, armed groups in several parts of the country have imposed curfews, lockdowns, and other measures to prevent the spread of the virus. To enforce their rules, the groups have threatened, killed, and attacked people they perceive are failing to comply.

Apart from the killings which might be going a bit too far I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of "rough justice" being handed out to some of the muppets we have here who ignore lockdowns, self quarantine and use all sorts of 'tricks' to evade State border closures and controls, etc.

I can just picture some of these idiots screaming about their "rights" as they're being dragged off to an isolated prison cell somewhere for a month or two - with a good whack across the head with a truncheon to try and get the message through their thick skulls.

But, since we're such a "nice" country that lets people get away with almost anything these days, I guess I can only dream...

23rd July 2020.

https://www.news.com.au/world/coronavirus/australia/coronavirus-australia-live-v...

403 new coronavirus cases and five deaths in Victoria

Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed 403 new coronavirus cases and five deaths in Victoria. It comes after a record spike in cases yesterday.

Yesterday was Victoria’s worst-ever day for new cases, with 484 and a positive test rate of 1.96 per cent.

In reaction to the figures this morning, Australia’s leading doctor appeared to be on the verge of tears as he described an impending disaster in Victoria.

Tony Bartone, the president of the Australian Medical Association, said there has been an “astronomical explosion” in cases in the state’s care homes.

“Our residents in aged care facilities are just a heartbeat away from calamity,” he told, with his voice cracking in emotion, the Today show this morning.

“We have seen this astronomical explosion in cases there. The PPE is not being worn. Infection control procedures are not being implemented in some.

“This is just absolutely unsustainable and we are just going to see the (case) numbers continue to rise.”

Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews said yesterday there were 45 coronavirus outbreaks in aged care homes in Victoria and a total of 300 positive cases.

Is this the End Times?

The Horsemen of Revelation

The Pale Horse of Pestilence

Previous articles in this series covered the meaning of the first three of the horsemen of Revelation—religious deception, war and famine. What does the fourth, the pale green horse and its rider, signify?

In this series we have been examining each of the first four seals of Revelation 6. These seals, dramatically depicted by four horsemen, show the effect of false religion, war,
famine and plague among the earth’s population in the days leading to the return of Jesus Christ.

Masks:

Just got back from a large shopping center
in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
I only saw 3 people who weren't wearing a mask:

One was a Middle Eastern looking young bloke in a
fruit and vegetable shop - touching and squeezing fruit.

Another was a guy pushing a bicycle into the center.

Lastly there was a massively obese woman on a mobility scooter
stuffing her face with food in the food court.

It seems that the message hasn't reached all people.
There was a security guard there who walked right
past the woman on the mobility scooter and did nothing.

No way -
she had "fish bites", dim sims - you name it -
the most fatty food she could ram down her gob -
and she was keen to get as much down there as possible.
