This one.... goes on about being told to  wear a mask violates her human rights blah blah f k n blah

https://www.heraldsun.com.au/coronavirus/melbourne-woman-who-refused-to-wear-mas...

What Dan Andrews said as calmly as he can (even though body language...I saw his lip curl up with anger) saying it’s not about violating human rights, 10 families buried their loved ones today, how hard can it be to wear a mask, he asked.

I’m quite disgusted with people equating human rights about wearing a mask with no consideration to others health.

Me... I like the mask situation, and the distancing....best things ever!
I’m considering wearing a mask every time I go out in public after the lockdown requirement ... after all, a lot of Asians have been wearing masks way before any if this.i

people like her are why Victoria is farqed right now. Not because of Dan or any other politician, but because of morons who think that just because they don't believe the virus is real, or their rights are more important than anyone else's that they can ignore instructions.

At this point in time of Victoria’s covid crisis, nothing gives me more comfort than mask wearing and twice I’m out since it began to be mandatory,  for medical appointments, I saw everyone wear masks, it truly gave me a sense of hope.... that our infection numbers will drop.... soon I hope! 🙏🏻
Hasten the day!
The last negativity we need is stories about belligerency.
It’s upsetting!
Trust me, not all of us are agreeing with it and most of us are doing the right thing that is required, as instructed by our professors, medics, politicians.
I’m amazed to see though, how a lot of Victorians go to get tested.
If I develop any of the symptoms mentioned I would too.

Regional areas.... are now showing a significant rise with infections.
Why?
There were zero at start of segregated lockdowns with certain post codes.
I will tell you why, selfish people going from city to country for drives.

And I believe, the whole of Victoria should’ve gone into lockdown.
I also believe mandatory masks should have started 2 weeks earlier with the start of lockdown.

A bit like shutting the gate after the horses have bolted?

Now we are running around trying to catch those horses to contain them.
Sigh......😣

Dan buggered up since the outbreak, but the outbreak wasn't his fault. It was the fault of entitled little runs like you who think you're all smarter than the experts that Victoria is now in the crapper.

Seriously. Ask for a refund, they ripped you off.

Victoria has recorded its most deadly day in the COVID-19 pandemic after six people were killed by the virus.

Three were aged in their 90s and
three were aged in their 80s.

OH that's ok then ???

are you saying that the same level of tragic loss surrounds the death of a 90 yo as the death of a 20 yo ?

Covid kills 20 yer olds.

More importantly, the untimely and voidable death of anyone, anywhere along their life's journey is tragic.

rarely,

with unemployment set to peak at 12 % and with suicide 600 % higher in the unemployed, we are going to see a lot of young people die through suicide from the fallout.

now be honest

if your 20 yo son or daughter commited suicide, are you really saying that would have no more effect on you then the death of a 90 yo.

because, i'll be honest, that would do me in

So you're a fan of Gigi Foster's way of thinking?

Because of the movement of people .... you know .... those bastards that couldn't & can't STAY HOME.

Trying to & lying to get over the border .... to reinfect other Victorian regional areas.... NSW & now there's a re shyte load of them all over QLD.

We get a spike up here then we know where it will have come from.

The ignorant iceholes will get the whole country back in lock down.

Yeah, right. And, it is the right of the rest of us not to be potentially infected with COVID-19 by idiots like her. Seems to know all about her "rights" but couldn't care less about her responsibilities (watch the video).

Time for big fines AND some prison sentences to be handed out.

What a bad attitude she has.
There were always going to be people like her.

Have you noticed all these people are recording before they enter the stores or shopping centres...

They know what they're doing is wrong, they're spending more time trying to make a scene than the trouble of them wearing masks.

If they don't want to wear a mask they're more than welcome to stay at home.

Coronavirus:
Australia could have up to 500,000 secret infections

July 25, 2020    10:06am

https://www.news.com.au/world/coronavirus/australia/coronavirus-australia-could-...

Studies conducted across the country have revealed as many as half a million Aussies could be infected with coronavirus. Experts say it’s possible.

As many as 500,000 Australians could have been infected with coronavirus and not necessarily know it, according to the NSW chief health officer Kerry Chant.

It’s on the higher end of figures Dr Chant said are being studied to determine the number of people who have been exposed to the coronavirus, which an early estimate puts at between one and two per cent of the total population in Australia.

Public health authorities have been conducting serological testing to identify antibodies in people’s blood in the hopes of further understanding the virus’ presence in Australia.

“That study is being undertaken at the moment and will be reported in due course,” Dr Chant said.

“But it’s an important component of our surveillance plan to actually understand how many people at particular points have been exposed,” she added.

University of South Australia epidemiologist Professor Adrian Esterman told news.com.au “it would be a surprise” if that many people had been infected, and it would mean many might have never known they had coronavirus.

“It would mean that there are an awful lot of people who have been infected, had few if any symptoms, and therefore never got on the radar,” Professor Esterman said.

“If they did pass it on, then the newly infected people might be in the same situation.”

“The ones we are finding from PCR testing (that looks for traces of the virus in the swabs), presumably are far more likely to be symptomatic and end up in hospital,” he added.

I saw a story on a maternity unit in New York
The doctor they are said that nearly 100% of the women coming in to give birth were testing positive to covid.
Very few had symptoms
And when they went and tested pre existing children it seems that this is where the mother's were catching it from

Bobby

We have to face reality
There is simply no way of stopping a virus which is super contagious
And where literally hundreds of thousands of people don't even know they have it

Short of testing every single human in Australia every day
At a cost of a trillion-dollars
We are just going to have to accept this as the new norm

Now we should I isolate the nursing homes
And there should be dedicated staff there
And their staff should be treated as always potentially infected
and maybe all staff in nursing home should be tested regularly

But we have wasted all this time
Fussing about testing all the healthy people
whilst allowing this to spread through literally dozens of nursing homes

it should have been obvious to the politicians from day 1
that the correct response to this was to protect the nursing homes with the most stringent of stringent of stringent of measures

elderly and vulnerable people who are not in nursing homes where to stay in their houses indefinitely

And stop wasting time and precious resources on trying to isolate this in the community

How are you going to do it
It is an impossible task to do it
Why waste billions upon billions of dollars doing something that is for all intents and purposes meaningless

Only one reason
So politicians and their public servant friends
Can look good on television

I agree if the above study is correct.
We've already lost the battle.
All we can do is slow it down by wearing masks etc.
People need to get back to work.

I agree 100%.

Putting them in prison, in solitary confinement, should definitely be an option for these morons.

We don't want these dangerous idiots loose in society.
