are you using a link to a russian news site.

russia  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Yes.

And their information is coming from Sweden.

“The big bottleneck is that our mortuary is not properly dimensioned for such a large city that we are in. It is then important for relatives to arrange the funerals so that the deceased become coffin-bound and thus can be handled by the cemetery administration,” Gothenburg funeral director Katarina Evenseth told Swedish Radio.

So, who are you accusing of lying - the news agency, the Swedish funeral director, or the Swedish radio station?

And, you didn't answer my question.

How are their morgues doing?

ah, so you cant tell the difference between a funeral home (which i wasnt talking about) and a hospital (which i was).

now

try again.

any links to hospitals being overrun  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

No.

Why would I have links to hospitals being over run?   Undecided

I didn't make any claim about them being over run.

Dead people don't need hospital beds.

For some reason, you don't seem to understand that.

Have you been drinking bleach or something?

So many people are dying, so quickly, that they either don't make it to hospital at all or are only there for a day or two before they're sent to the morgue.

Of course the hospitals aren't over run - the morgues are?

And yet, an over reaction from Queenslands premier to shut borders with no notice to the NSW premier....because Sydney had 17 or so infections.... that’s such a small figure we Victorians wish for ffs!!

I wonder, since we Victorians will have up to 1.5 million tests per day bound to find infections.... how many do Queensland have? In such a huge state?

I hope our newly infectious daily rates drop like a hot potato ASAP!

Yet....I am truly astounded as to how many aged care centres are infected!
And so many elderly have been infected.... the untimely deaths of these dear elderly will be ongoing ..... we are like a mini version of what Italy went through.

Unfortunately, I can't see that happening while this sort of thing goes on... and on... and on...

Dozens not home during COVID checks

You need to scroll down quite a way to get to this story so I've attached a screenshot.

Time for some serious prison sentences to be handed out, in my opinion.

So what’s the point door knocking then?
If hefty fines or prison sentence is not on the books?

People think it’s a pushover eh? Laugh at the government, weak as pizz.

Let’s get f. K n serious because these selfish arse holes are not taking it seriously!! ffs  Angry

I’m sick of suffering fools gladly. Waiting for this to end but it won’t if these morons don’t do the right thing by us all because of selfishness.

I’m so ashamed of this....and angry.

Sorry Lols but she doesn't work for or dance to Gladys Berejiklians tune.

20 cases in NSW over 49 different locations & not everyone has been traced ....

Don't you think that that has room to blow out cases?

As unfortunate as it is as to the situation in Victoria & for you .....

there's no need to hope we end up in the same boat.

There are way to many unexplained Victorians about in my area alone & that has been compounded by NSW travellers who have beat the feet over the border & may have come from some of the hot spot areas.

I just hope they're all clean as we don't need to rejoin you in lockdown.  Sad

Same.

I'm a little shocked at how selfish some people can actually be.

I doubt anyone would hope for something like that.

This virus will always be amongst us..... it’s foolish to think it will just not exist anymore.
The death rate from corona virus in Australia is less than the usual flu rate?

The usual flu can and has been be a killer b1tch.

Oh and how nice that pristine Queensland took no overseas infected travellers, it was all Melbourne and Sydney that did that! Angry

It's strange how the nursing homes have nearly all
been so badly affected.
Maybe older people need a less virus load to become infected?

Haven't we had 2 people who lied about being in Vic return to QLD and test positive after being in the community for over a week?

They're going into full contact tracing mode but these 2 didn't quarantine for the 2 weeks like they should have because they lied.

QLDers aren't following proper social distancing especially in the Logan area where they were.  A school has had to be closed and it's likely we'll be heading for a lockdown in these areas again in the next few weeks.

it's not an over reaction. Unfortunately, people returning are lying about where they've been and now the virus is back in Qld. She should shut the border completely but so far it's only Sydney siders who are banned.

There is better testing because they're aged care facilities but also older people show more symptoms so they do more tests in general.

No it's not. Many nursing staff are casuals who work in multiple nursing homes over the week. Why would they take a day off,  let alone two weeks, with no pay just because they have a slight sniffle?

What?!
Lemme get this straight.... 2 Queenslanders came into a locked down area of Melbourne?
Then went back to Queensland and lied about where they’d been?

Guilty!
Throw the book at them!

I want Queensland safe ... my daughter is in the Gold Coast.
I want to be able to go back up again ... these people knowingly doing the wrong thing....are guilty.

What’s going to happen to them, Annastacia says she’s furious.... how about some charges....

Like WTF as if I were a Queenslander I would go to Melbourne!

As much as my daughter and I badly miss each other, our hugs, I tell her to stay up there, it’s nicer, it’s warmer, it’s safer.

We have face time on our phones, she took me in a virtual shopping sprint at Harbour Town yesterday, showed me some nice new leggings at Victoria’s Secret outlet store, instead of $120 each, she got 3 for $70 coz I saw one I liked and said to her to buy it for me for when I get back up there.  Smiley
(Am I filled with too much notion of positive here? Sad)
