It began festering in Victoria – namely Melbourne – several weeks ago but is rapidly spreading throughout the rest of the country, with recent examples of infection in Sydney and Brisbane.
No community is safe. No public health measure seems robust enough to slow the spread. We are all at risk.
It’s a pandemic of stupid.
Common sense, reason, and a belief in what’s best for all of us, not just individual whims and wants, have been strangled by this relentless illness.
Border jumpers. Anti-maskers and sovereign citizens. The ignorant and the uninformed. The misinformed. The selfish. The deeply complacent.
There are multiple components to the make-up of this virus.
Each on their own is dangerous enough in the right environment, but when combined, the risk posed to society is immense.

You're absolutely right. There is an epidemic of stupidity.
But not everyone is 'in' the Medical industry, an industry that here in Australia has the females as the Alpha expression, not you and I (we're just Betas
). I could fly to South Africa in Africa, or New Zealand in Oceania to be Alpha male. But hey, I know my place and I was born here.
So yes there is a growing culture of stupidity and irresponsibility growing and festering. But maybe (and the USA) just can't do it as good as other nations? Could you make a Politician do a Surgery? People outside of the Medical Industry can only go so far. Most are like Fans in the stands watching the Medical play on the Field. Some don't even bother to watch, even on TV. Just not interested.
You might find that if you consider all this on top of your superb first post, handling such people becomes both easier and makes them come around to a more sensible commitment of effort, for the good of everyone.
Even though we have Regions that prioritize things like Politics, Military, Religion and more and don't commit to defeating (or evolutionarily rise above) the sinister Virus (sinister because of how it came about) like other Regions towards a better success. We are in a world that has one half committed to defeating the Corona Effect and not all of them have any substantially adequate Medical enforcement. The other really don't really concern themselves with helping, or purposely go out to spread it - just to irk others.
We have the 'Political' people who use a 'Right' to ignore the Medical enforcement by 'team player Police'.
So how destructing is this sinister Virus really?
Is it dangerous enough that ALL REGIONS must commit to a total national, cultural, racial effort to conquer this thing?
That is the question. If we use both hemispheres of our brain. We can see both sides. Like the hemisphere's of the world
. We can see the situation. We even have the tact of a USA President saying
"It's you're job to find a Vaccine. Lockdowns ruin Economies and start Wars. You got your job to do, I have mine. What? Do you want more money? Can't you run your own show, like Politics does in the USA?"
... and it can go on.
Such in your face abruptness from Trump's angle does rattle many in other industries like the Media - a very strong supporter against all efforts made against the Corona.
But it is what it is. There are many who are 'stupid' to the efforts by the Medical (Wonder Woman) Industry here in Australia. Many think people like Bojack and I are 'stupid' to their priorities of their existence.
The crux is that Can the Medical Industry raise someone to be as important to the World as a Emperor, a President, a King, the world's greatest Economist ($)? Someone who does have the power and the clout to really make these other positions of power, turn their heads. That is the only CURE I know of. Until then, I guess we won't be dropping any CURE bombs soon.
If a vaccine/cure is indeed discovered/engineered by the Medical Industry 'somewhere' in the world. I bet they would claim it as a 'team effort'. No 'one' person to do it to claim the prize of the Top Medical Person in the world (to rival President, Emperors, Kings and World's Richest and represent the Medical Industry.
I do also think there will become a 'Region' on the planet that does make Medicine the 'cultural' priority. It might be a nation on floating great ships?
Ahh, life. It's just as sweet as eating from the Tree of Knowledge.
