Sadly, I think my pond is finis! No fish left. I might remove the water lilies then empty the pond completely, remove the other plants, refill and put the water lilies back. Not bothering to put fish back—the house will be sold within the next couple of years I reckon. Maybe buy a couple Luisiana swamp iris—spectacular flowers.

I will cut a branch off the apricot tree nearby—more sun more flowers from the waterlilies I reckon. The branch will be cut in chunks for use in the smoker—gives a nice light sweet smoke flavor.
