1) Canada's Constitution is a superior document to Australia's Constitution - it is better written and is more imperial.
2) Canada is more loyal to the Crown than we are - republican movements in Canada have never taken off like ours have.
3) Canada is more decentralised than Australia, respecting the principle of federalism and freedom.
4) Canada is more diverse than Australia in its governing institutions - their Cabinets and Ministers are from diverse backgrounds, whereas in Australia ours are primarily white.
5) Foreigners who become Canadian citizens must swear an oath of allegiance to the Queen - in Australia we abandoned this long ago.
6) Canada has two official languages: English and French. The Province of Quebec is primarily French speaking and Canada has done much to preserve and protect its French heritage.
7) Canada's leaders are bilingual being able to speak both English and French. Justin Trudeau was able to speak in the French National Assembly using fluent French - our leaders could never do this.
8) Canada will never become a republic - its proximity to the USA almost guarantees it will stay loyal to the Crown. It is what makes Canada 'Canada'.
9) Canada's Senate consists of life appointees, modelling the British House of Lords, whereas our Senate is modelled on the rubbish American model.
10) Canada's provinces consist of only one House, unlike ours which have two Houses (except Queensland).
11) Canada treats its indigenous peoples better than we do.

7) Perhaps some are but it's never been needed for them to address anyone in French. People my age learned French in school.

More of Auggie's belief that he is the ultimate constitution expert and knows how we should do all things in respect to governance of our fellow men, i.e. a dreamer.
