"Some years back I read a book written by a Chinese bloke who'd been in the Red Guards and Cultural Revolution... he went through the early euphoria of belonging to a group engaged in justice and the pursuit of righting wrongs etc, and gathering and traveling and assembling across the countryside before getting on to the next phase in their holy war for the people and equality and all. After a while he began to notice that the people they were beating up, throwing on the streets, booting out of teaching positions and businesses and such - were just ordinary, normal people who - really - had done no harm to anyone.
This went on until he was severely disillusioned by seeing often frail and very ill professors and such forced to make public statements of their 'guilt' and 'wrong ways' and such, after weeks of being locked up, physically and mentally abused, and otherwise 'brought to reason and the knowledge of their crimes against the people'.
He became more and more half-hearted about his continuation in the movement, and observed that 'splinter groups' were forming within the movement, often with different ideas of what was right and what was wrong in the great socialist revolution Holy War for the people. This culminated in armed conflicts between his and other groups - in one of which the young lady he had become attached to in the movement was shot dead.
He then fled China via Hong Kong, and landed up in Australia, where he wrote his book about the Cultural Revolution in painful clarity, from his time as a zealot to his time of disillusioned and deeply hurt flight from China."

"Now this, Poppets, is what we are seeing happening in the good old U S of A... a 'cultural revolution' headed by the BLeMish, and seeking to right wrongs and punish wrongdoers... trouble is, just like its comparable Cultural Revolution in China in the 50's or so - the people being singled out as the oppressors etc, are generally decent, ordinary people who, really, have done nobody wrong. We've already seen a form of 'public confession' with a police captain kneeling on the ground etc... and it is inevitable that more 'public show trials' will occur under the force of mob rule, and that eventually the same process of vile abuse to extract 'confessions' and such will occur with NO established forces of law and order to control and punish them - until the entire Holy War movement of BLeMish will turn on itself and fights will begin over who is more 'right' in their interpretation of its purpose and how it should be done.
This is what occurred with other Holy War movements like feminism in the West and - of course - with Islam and its various contingents warring with one another... not to mention the Khmer Rouge movement driven by adolescent group mob rule that cost half the population of Kampuchea.
We are living under fire, gentlemen - people will die."
