He tried to suggest not bothering with an election.

His current plan is to stop the votes from being counted. This is fact this is what he will try and do as long as he isn't blown out of the water.

He has been setting this up for months, His obstructing mail delivery and stacking the courts, his insistance that the result must be known on the day of voting etc.

This is the story that America isn't a democracy, He wants an undemocratic election win to seem acceptable.

Trump wants to be an unelected leader. This is fascist behaviour.

There may not be a lot they can do

Besides you seen how meek and mild they were with the appointment of the supreme court judges and how mild and reserved they have been with trump, Barr etc. How kindly they have let the republican senate off for not providing another stimulus and on and on.

Just remember this in the election and make a point of remembering that counting the votes is how democracy works.

Leaders are elected in democracies. The team that refuse to count votes are the radical side this is where Autocrats and fascists reside. Unfortunately Trump qualifies in both camps.

This isn't right V left.

This is democracy V autocratic rule.

The Republicans cannot win the election they intend to take it by force if they can.
