Both the Koran and the Bible contain abominable teachings that offend human decency. That's not to say their vile teachings mirror each other in every particular. Often they do and often they are different but no less revolting.   

There are countless articles on the net that list the "worst" teachings in the bible. Many repeat the same passages but each tends to have additional ones. The point is there is no shortage of vile teachings in the Bible and I suggest your readers just google it (if their stomachs can take it). Here are some examples I cut and pasted:-

God destroys the fetuses of those who do not worship him. This is not the only feticidal passage in the bible, but it is the worst:

"You shall acknowledge no God but me. . . . You are destroyed, Israel. . . . The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open." (Hosea 13:4, 9, 16 New International Version) 

"See, the day of the Lord is coming — a cruel day, with wrath and fierce anger. . . . I will put an end to the arrogance of the haughty. . . . Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives violated." (Isaiah 13:9–16 NIV)

"O daughter Babylon, you devastator! Happy shall they be who pay you back what you have done to us! Happy shall they be who take your little ones and dash them against the rock!"(Psalm 137:8–9 NRSV)

But scripture is only one side of the equation. Its how both religions have interpreted the "Sacred" text to justify some of the most appalling violations of humanity down the ages. The inquisitions (burning/butchering/maiming/heretics, non believers, apostates. Genocide in the Americas to steal gold and enforce conversion. The Christian Crusades were some of the most bloodthirsty wars in human history and to many Muslims the Crusades are continuing today. Just read Yadda's daily posts calling upon us to destroy Islam (and I wonder if he means the all the followers of islam as well). And ask yourself this; who have had the most and biggest wars since Islam began - the Muslim East or the Christian West. Did they have anything on the scale of the 1st and 2nd World wars in the Muslim world. Dropped an atomic bomb on civilians (twice), Korean war, Vietnam war. The Christian West has been at war almost continuously with itself and others they sought to subjugate since Jesus Christ. And they want to pretend that only Islam is a religion of violence. Oh Please!!!!! Where ever Christians have gone they have shed blood and almost always its been for money.
