Aussie is right though, break the rules and it's on your head. Funnily enough when I temporarily stopped modding, Aussie and his minions attacked me for warning Gregg he was stepping close to a line, as my non-mod persona. It's also interesting Aussie like imposing rules in his board he doesn't want used elsewhere. It's gutless, if he really thought his rules were good rules he would apply them everywhere when he posts. It leaves the taste that his rules are for his benefit, not users, a taste of hypocrisy.

On another Thread, a member has been posting quotes made elsewhere by a person who is permanently banned at OzPol.

I've given  that matter some thought over the last day, and have decided that in Relationships,
no-one may relay messages or requests or quote posts on behalf of any such person.
For example, if elsewhere, such a person asks that a Member post something on their behalf here, doing so, is not allowed.

Even if that person makes no such request, anything of that kind which is posted here breaches this, and it will be deleted.  If there are repeats, then further action is likely.

The whole point of a permanent ban is that the banned person may not 'communicate' with this Board in any way.  What I have termed, 'proxy posts' defeat that purpose, and are not permitted in Relationships.

It's not a forum rule as has been pointed out. It's a rule Aussie made up to silence banned members from saying anything via a third party in his MRB. Totally OK as far as MRBs go. The problem comes from his hypocrisy. If the rule was a 'just' one and one he wanted everywhere, he would do it everywhere as a matter of principle.
