oh know now your comparing yourself to a doctor...well I doubt very much he would do and OPERATION what do you think??
so you dont have a licence.....btw if they take away your driving licence you can still drive a car.......but its unsafe to do so...and you could be in trouble....
just like the doctor if he writes a script or does an operation without a licence......maybe that doesnt apply to legals.

Section 24 of the LPA says that without a practising certificate it is an offence for you to engage in legal
practice. Engaging in legal practice is not defined in the LPA but by the common law. It will generally
include giving legal advice, so you should not sign anything that involves your giving legal advice. The
Society’s view is that you are not permitted, for instance, to act for family or friends, even without
payment. Payment is just one of the factors that may be relevant in deciding whether you are engaging in
legal practice, it is not conclusive. See Legal Services Commission v Walter [2011] QSC 132.
Section 25 of the LPA says that without a practising certificate,

advertise that you are entitled to engage in legal practice. Accordingly, you need to be careful what you
call yourself.
In particular you need to take great care in describing yourself as a ‘lawyer’ as, depending
on the circumstances, this may be taken to be a representation of an entitlement to engage in le
