... they are unacceptable to Jews and will not be allowed to convert to Judaism because they would embarrass even the most extreme Jews and bring shame to Judaism.
Yadda, yes, you, raise your hand and remove your bogus kippah.
Silly boy.
I, nor any one else, has any need to 'convert' [to Judaism, or to Hinduism, or to Shintoism, et al].
Like many others, i live in
this world.
And like many others, i read scripture, O.T. and N.T.
[ i count myself fortunate, that O.T. and N.T. scripture,
is my cultural heritage.
though any person can find these scripts, and can choose to study them. ]
And in reading the Word of God, ....
i choose, to love, and to seek, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
What else is there ?
.
Deuteronomy 10:12
And now, Israel, what doth the LORD thy God require of thee, but to fear the LORD thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the LORD thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,
Micah 6:7
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
Amos 5:4
For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:
5 But seek not Bethel, nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought.
6 Seek the LORD, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour it, and there be none to quench it in Bethel.
Amos 5:14
Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live: and so the LORD, the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken.
15
Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the LORD God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.
Psalms 15:1
LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.
3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
Psalms 73:1
Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
