Soviet/Russian Science Fiction Films

I watched two recently and they were both excellent

The first one, Stalker, is a Soviet-era film

The other, Sputnik, is a Russian film set in the Soviet era

I watched 'Solaris' with, wait for,  barf George barf Clooney barf barf. That piqued my interest in the original. Slow, dark, melancholic. Why does Hollywood f&$k everything it touches?

While it may not be strictly Soviet/Russian production it was a good movie imo.

I watched the film Stalker (1979), but I did not watch the Soviet film Solaris (1972) and the Russian film Sputnik (2020).

I can also recommend the Soviet films The Invisible Man (Человек-невидимка) (1984) and The Amphibian Man (Человек-амфибия) (1962).
