People with weddings last weekend went into disarray and I have friends that work in the Yarra Valley wedding venues, telling me the brides to be, were in tears, as all arrangements of flowers and food gone to spoil due to sudden lockdown.
And then the special events due for this weekend ... all were waiting in sheer nervous nail biting anticipation, and yes... as they say... by their (politicians) habits we shall know them... we had such a long lockdown with “just a couple more weeks” announcements like ground hog day, that went on for months.
So you are using a sob story to cover for getting it wrong.
Anyone who organises anything like a wedding in the current circumstances is insane. I have no sympathy for them.
I certainly won't be organising anything major until the vaccine is rolled out and things return to normal
No sob story...it’s actual facts....and no one knew until the announcement just now.... our Premier himself stated it from the beginning of this 5 day lockdown... that he couldn’t make any promises if it were only 5 days.....
Life goes on.... you can’t expect people to stop living ....If it’s a risk to expect the faulty Vic Premier to keep the virus in check as other states have done better, then what’s that saying about him? He’s the problem, not the people of Victoria.
As for waiting until the vaccine... is not 100% proven safe.
Putting faith in that should not allow any premier to be making stupid future choices RE: quarantine issues.
All I read between their lines are “trust me, I’m a politician”
