the government response to covid is anything but a pure market.

if they wanted to make it pure, they would say

"this covid is a risk, dont go to resturants and bars and gyms if you dont feel up to the risk.
hey pfizer, hay astra, you might be able to make a vaccine and then sell it to the public, the way apple make an iphone and sell it. nothing to do with us.

if you make a good vaccine and the public want to make themselves safe, they will shell out for it, the way they shell out for a 2000 dollar security system to make themselves safe.  or they shell out for sunscreen or a car witrh air bags.

we dont interefere with peoples choices.

present your evidence.
sell your vaccines to willing buyers.

we'll just butt out because we are politicians and its none of our business telling fully mature and self reliant adults what to do.

i explained this all above.

when the qld government give virgin 200 million of taxpayer money thats corrupt.
when the government declare massive funding and legislated "zero liability" for vaccine producers thats corrupt.

they can stick their vaccines on the shelves at chemist warehouse and if i feel the need, i'll buy one.
actually i would buy one, the same way as i would go and buy a mosquito net if i was going to new guinea.
i'm an adult
i have cash in my wallet.
i weigh up what i want to exchange that cash for
and i make a transaction in a pure market.

what the hell does some politician have to do with my choice, my cash, my health, my decision.

good arguement 

when i went to indonesia.
my gp said i could purchase a typhoid vax and a hepetitis a vaxine for about $130.
not mandatory
i would have to make my own risk assessment
scomo had zero interest in my decision.
i decided as a full grown autonomous adult to take the risk and not get that particular vaccine.


sounds like a good way to run health.
present the consumer with the facts and let him decide for himself.

you should try it,
maybe you'll need to speak to your adult gaurdian first
