Some more good news:

COVID-breaching New Year's Eve party at The George bar in Perth sees organiser found guilty

The organiser of a "secret" New Year's Eve party at a Perth bar has been found guilty of breaching COVID-19 restrictions by allowing partygoers to dance and drink standing up while trying to hide what was happening from police.

The ****ing lunacy of some of those restrictions and 'expert' directives.  The problem with Australians isn’t that so many of them are descended from convicts, Clive James once said, but that so many are descended from prison officers.

My father was a bus driver in the UK and I'm pretty sure he wasn't decended from convicts or prison officers.

Oh, and idiots like those at that New Years Eve party who were deliberately ignoring Covid restrictions (protections, actually) is a large part of the reason why we're in the Covid mess that we're in today.

Hi Carl.

If our WA friends headed off to the gym, took a few supplements - zinc, vitamin D, HQL - enjoyed a diet of nutritious raw veges and practiced "personal responsibility" over their despicable chode lifestyles, they wouldn't need masks. They could just get on with life being basically awesome.

Instead, they're a "cautionary tale".

Worth studying.

Nope, I didn't think so.

If it's good enough for one, it's good enough for all.

No matter what you think of that particular law, he knowingly and willingly broke it.

Not acceptable.

The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was
their final, most essential command. His heart sank as he thought of
the enormous power arrayed against him, the ease with which any Party
intellectual would overthrow him in debate, the subtle arguments which he
would not be able to understand, much less answer. And yet he was in the
right! They were wrong and he was right. The obvious, the silly, and the
true had got to be defended. Truisms are true, hold on to that! The solid
world exists, its laws do not change. Stones are hard, water is wet,
objects unsupported fall towards the earth's centre. With the feeling that
he was speaking to O'Brien, and also that he was setting forth an important
axiom, he wrote:

Freedom's is the freedom to say that two plus two make four. If that is
granted, all else follows.

matty posted solid advice, couldnt have said it much better myself.

when the vaccine is a failure and politicians dont care about you, its good that we have personal responsibility to fall back on.

but, of course, everyone over the age of 15 takes personal responsibility for themselves surely?
they dont want to remain in nappies indefinitely.

Did Dan say that before Delta and Omicron appeared? I believe he did.

So, I'm not calling Dan a liar and really have no reason to but I am calling you silly for posting the part that I've highlighted.

This is a follow up to my post from yesterday.

Went to Coles at Belmont Forum this morning... while I was there I noticed they'd finally got some more Panadol Extra on the shelves (20 per pack).

They're selling them now for
$7.50
a pack.

Last time they had some (months ago) they were $7.20 a pack and they'd even been as low as $6.20 and even $5.80 a pack occasionally.

Greedy b@stards!!

(Meanwhile, the Nyal tablets which are exactly the same as Panadol Extra are still selling for $6 per pack of 20 at Woolworths - I noticed Coles didn't have any of those but Woolies had plenty).  Grin

hi carl

i can honestly say i dont think i have had a panadol in the last decade.

you would be better off buying green vegetables, a gym membership and some salmon.

panadol is a liver poison and a band aid therapy.

it lowers your temperature.

a higher temperature is what your immune system likes when it is being awesome and waging war on a bug.

you are going against nature and hindering your immune response .

when you go against mother nature you lose, but only 100 % of the time

In NSW, it's 14, Aquascoot - the age of medical consent.

Now, I don't know about you, dear, but a lot of 14 year olds are not very responsible. They usually have parents to cook and clean up after them.

I know, I know, chodes, the lot of them, but what can you do?

I'm sure that by 14, most stallions are hitting old age. Not we silly old homo sapiens.

Lives of pure garbage, no?
