Not so at all mate.

Over the past week, 19,338 new cases of COVID were reported
across Australia—an average of 2,763 cases per day.

This is an increase of 11.6% in NSW, and an increase of 9.4% in Victoria.

[Australian Department of Health and Aged Care, 10 March 2023.]

So, aquascoot is a proven liar.

Once again.

Between huge stadium concerts & World Pride, the past few weeks have apparently seen the largest crowds since Sydney 2000 Olympics.
A quick key word search of Twitter this morning  🫤 Are we at all surprised the next wave is starting?

And we'll be seeing the same thing here in Perth very soon after the Ed Sheeran concert at Optus Stadium Sunday evening.

jesus geoff, up at midnight, whipping yourself into an anxiety state over covid.

wow.

thats about the worst thing you can do for your immune system

you are flooding your immune cells with cortisol and adrenaline when they should be  resting.

anxiety at midnight = increased cancer, infections and heart disease.

try to do some meditation to reduce your death anxiety.

this covid panic is becoming a self fulfilling prophesy

when you do get it your little soldiers (your lymphocytes0 will be so weakened that this mild respiratory virus will demolish you.

hit the gym and  get stronger .

i know gyms were closed and people were just hitting dunking donuts, but seriously, be a good boy scout and prepare by getting fit.

you will get it at some stage and 7 boosters wont work.
its everywhere from the top of everst to antarctica.

i will get the excellent scientist dr gerrard to ring you with some advice.

believe the science.
believe dr gerrard
believe aquascoot.

there is still time

Huh? Geoff's post was made at 6:18pm Perth time which, according to my calculations would have been 9:18pm in Victoria.

Perhaps you are referring to my post which I made at 11:00pm Perth time?

Looks like you're getting a bit confused there - as usual.

Yep, you're definitely confused. Or deranged. Or both.

I take it you know where the attached picture comes from?

Dr Gerard
Highly esteemed chief health officer

Obviously more of a scientist than Carl or Jeff

Do you only follow the scientific advice when it suits

That's not very scientific Grin

Wow a coworker described it.  Packed trains to a packed stadium of crowds screaming and singing, then packed trains home. Then go to work next day.

Yep... but I doubt we'll see anything about it in the media, of course.

Saw a comment on Twitter yesterday where someone suggested there should be a Medicare 'surcharge' added to every ticket sold for these Covid (and the flu) superspreader events.

I'd definitely like to see that happen.

its not a bad idea.

since there are a half dozen people in hospital with covid (admit its the co-morbidities that put them there) and there are 10,000 people in hospital because they eat crap.

i propose a surcharge on all food with too much sugar or fat.

zero
people in icu in WA.

what a nothing burger

we should have brought hankies and tissues and a few panadol, not an extra 1000 ventilators

So did we, dear, so did we. You said that was big government meddling in the Superior Man's business and so unfair.

You said we should help Maccas and KFC sell more sugar and fat. This, you said, would cause the chodes to all die of obesity or wake up to themselves.

Actually, you said, they'll never wake up, so bring it on.

Lives of pure garbage.

when did i say that?

i said we should move with compassion into a maccas and sit down and eat a healthy salad.

the superior man seeks to inspire and mentor.

you completely misunderstand the "narrow road to success"

to start with all young men need to pursue women and cash.
why?
so they can get that out of their system  and transcend the paradigm.

then as we climb we see the people who havent even done the brutal hard yards of getting money and cash.

these are the chodes
defined by
the cry baby narrative
seeing challenges as a problem
trying to pleasure themselves
following the path of least resistance.
limiting beliefs
self pity
addictions
inertia

so the superior man looks down and he sees 2 distinct groups.

those stuck in trying to get lots of pussy and cash and those who are too gutless to try to get lots of pussy and cash.

they both need to be met with completely different messages.

the chodes (incels, on the dole, complaining ) need the full force of the evolutionary blowtorch

those who are crushing it with women and cash need the full force of the tao te ching, the dharma, the teaching of marcus aurelius . they need to start on the work of ego death.

but at least they are on the path.

most people dont even start on the path

they are 50 or 60 and they are still an infant. an old infant. scared of life, scared of adventure, just wanting to be comfortable, latching onto an authority figure to tell them what to think the way an infant latches onto a breast.  these people need urgent weaning.
its a full on emergenncy situation.

because they are rapidly approaching death with the skill set of a toddler.

thats catastrophic.

if you cared about your fellow human beings you would always apply the blowtorch to cry baby behaviour and you would always mentor wisdom to the over enthusiastic guy who is crushing it.

meet people where they are at

Your "nothing burger" is still killing Australians at an unacceptable rate.

And still putting a lot of people in hospital and ICU.

https://covidlive.com.au/

I'm dreading to think what winter is going to be like this year.

But, I'm sure (almost) everyone is being distracted by nuclear submarines and now Tomahawk missiles at the moment. Until Covid affects them personally, of course.

As I said a few days back, the Federal government never seems to have any money for pensioners, the unemployed and the homeless but they apparently have no shortage of money for war mongering (and tax cuts for the rich).

This is absolutely shameful coming from the ALP* in my opinion.

* Alternate Liberal Party.

Oh, I'm awaiting Anthony Albanese's third "interaction" (his word after his second infection last year) with Covid... won't be too long now.

Will be interesting to see if it's a big "nothing burger" for him this time - even with his no doubt 'instant' access to antivirals and other treatments the rest of us have to jump through hoops to get (if we can even get them at all).

Speaking of Airbus Albo...

https://twitter.com/NobodyImpawtant/status/1636486839812108288

Yep. 100% agree.
