How's this for some "personal responsibility"?

I spent around 11 HOURS with my elastomeric mask.

Took the subway, train, queue for couple hours, spend 2 hours in a concert, got back home... And I didn't faint, didn't have any breathing issues, I was able to communicate with people around me.

Just saying, is doable.

Now show this post to your wife (and ask her to share it at work as well).

Yes Tim, I couldn't agree more.

Quote:
11 Western Australians died from  CVID last week

@MarkMcGowanMP
“urges” WA to protect the most vulnerable

That’s HIS JOB

Public Health is the responsibility of WA Govt BUT he’s lying to convince you it’s yours

Public Health is NOT an individual responsibility

It NEVER was

(By the way... Tim is using "CVID" because Twitter seems to be 'filtering out' a lot of Tweets that have Covid, COVID and COVID-19 in them lately. Other people are using different ways of saying it like C-vid, Kovid, etc.).

So much for Elon Musk's alleged "freedom of speech" with Twitter.  Roll Eyes

"use your free RATs. That's what they are there for."

Grin Grin Grin

No, Mark... this is what they're there for.  Roll Eyes

And yet you still you follow me around replying to my Covid posts like a little puppy dog wagging his tail.

Same as you do with Greg nearly every time he mentions Donald Trump.

Smiley

Oh, would you care to address the subject of my previous post? Probably not especially seeing as you're not in WA.

For goodness sake don't buy any of these, Mark (McGowan).

You've already wasted enough of our money on useless, soon to expire RATs.

FDA Recalls 500,000 COVID Test Kits Due to Bacteria

Quote:
May 8, 2023 – As many as half a million at-home COVID tests are being recalled due to potential bacterial contamination.

The recalled tests are a variety called SD Biosensor, Inc. Pilot COVID-19 At-Home Tests. They were distributed by maker Roche Diagnostics to retailers CVS Health and Amazon, according to the FDA.

Accidental contact with the liquid in the test kit poses an infection risk, particularly for people with weakened immune systems. A recalled test also may have given an incorrect result, with the potential for a false positive or a false negative reading.

Shocked

Looks like it's time for Carl to try to mentor aquascoot.

Again.

Pay close attention.

COVID is NOT a respiratory virus. It is transmitted via the respiratory system but it is a vascular virus. Equating COVID to the flu is ignorant. This is not a new concept. For example – TB – it is spread through aerosols but affects the ENTIRE body.

Now YOU "write those lines 100 x for your homework please".

Oh, and here's another one for Baronvonrort and everyone else who believes masks don't work (and mention the Cochrane review regularly).

The Cochrane review on masks was a “really great review” – NO. It was fraught with methodological errors, even recognized by the authors. It does NOT mean masks don’t work.

You're welcome.  Smiley

I agree with a lot of that statement

The covid virus seems to attack any area of weakness or inflammation within the body

For example if you have heart disease or diabetes which is already making your organs inflamed
Kovid is going to seek out those areas of inflammation and attack them

Everyone knows that
It's the whole concept of comorbidities which is established fact

So the sensible approach
And the approach which aqua scoot has always advised
Is to reduce the amount of inflammation in your body

Eating a super nutritious diet
Getting your diabetes cholesterol blood pressure smoking alcohol etc under control
Is crucial to how the virus will affect you

Hiding from the virus is not going to work
Taking personal responsibility to make yourself as robust as possible
Is the advice of the superior man

Just picked up another 20 free RATs at Maddington Central shopping centre this afternoon. These ones expire in September.

I asked the young guy handing them out "how many are left in the warehouse now?" and he said "there's still about 2 full warehouses to get rid of".

I'm just wondering how much public housing could have been built with the nearly half a billion dollars which was spent by the WA government on all of these RATs (which wouldn't have been needed in the first place if our governments had done their jobs and kept the population safe from Covid)?

Here's my collection so far. The ones in the bags expired 4 days ago - I hadn't checked them all for a while (bin day on Tuesday).

The ones on the left are the 20 I got today.

And they're all probably next to useless for detecting the latest variants.

Would have been better if Mark (McGowan) had spent half a billion dollars on high quality masks which work for all Covid (and flu) variants as my elderly aunt and I (and the rest of the few remaining maskers in Perth) are proving.

Oh.

Not bleach in the lungs, sunshine up the arse, and a team of 12 doctors (including one who believes COVID is caused by demon sperm and alien DNA) monitoring you 24/7?

This "mild respiratory virus"?

https://twitter.com/Sunny_Rae1/status/1657293335948656641

Quote:
From the British Heart Foundation published yesterday - everything we’ve been warning about since 2021. Covid is NOT & never had been just a cold. It is damaging our blood vessels & ⬆️our risk of heart attacks, strokes &other CV disease. Please take care x

Is coronavirus a disease of the blood vessels?

Sir Nail and our other resident antivaxxers (who are always blaming all this on the Covid vaccines) should also read it.

But I'll bet they won't.
