I wonder if Bojack would agree with me on this?
The Virus seems to be gaining strength and intensity like a temperature rising. I think it's just at a 1/4 of its full potential and life-cycle. It won't give up until all of the human system has been infected (except anyone 'isolated' from it's touch for the duration of its course, where without a solid vaccine, they will eventually have to come in contact with it - but hopefully after it has run its course and weakened way down the track).

I would say that the more 'polluted' (filthier) environments and densely populated areas will be hardest hit. But there is a strain in Samerica that is pretty aggressive in its transference in a sparsely populated area of its own accord, though I don't know why?

This is not mid way through the virus nor the end -
it's still at the beginning -
the whole world - every continent is seeded.
This year we'll see what it can really do.

Nah.

It will miraculously go away once the weather warms up.

Pity the same couldn't be said about you knobhead...............

Quiet - you knob jockey.

A sandwich shop lady refused sell me a sandwich yesterday unless I typed my name and number into what looked like a mobile phone. I asked what happens to the info, she said it goes to the government. I said no thanks and went to another sandwich shop where customers were ignoring a writing pad and pen near the counter for names and numbers. I got everything I wanted without any fuss

The comedy continues

Just heard on the ABC TV news tonight.

The USA has had over 15,000 Covid deaths in 4 days.
It's a disaster.

good on you for punishing a hard working, already struggling business who has no choice but do as asked or risk a $55 000 fine. I hope she goes broke for daring to follow the law. The dumb bitch

yes but 15 000 deaths is nothing. It's more important that Bias can buy his sandwich without being made to spell his name out. Imagine being asked to do that whilst under pressure of them watching him. What if he got the spelling wrong? Then he'd die of embarrassment. Much better another 15 000 strangers die than that.

Fake news, Bobby.

They only have 15 cases, and that will soon be down to zero.

There's no virus in the town where I shop numpty, mask wearing is rare. That sheila is applying an extreme measure unnecessarily and is losing money.

We're not in the big city that got rid of the virus and then let it back in again, don't you watch the comedy show on ABC News 24?, Zero cases, then planes allowed in, presto, more cases in Sydney. All latest cases originated from international travelers, how stupid is that? Longname is putting money before peoples health in case you haven't realized it - how's letting planes in gonna get rid of the virus?

it matters not one iota if there is any virus in your town. She is bound by law to collect details of anyone in the shop or risk a $55k fine

Hi LTYC - Covid has driven the world crazy -

it even caused the storming of the Capitol building in Washington
as Trump would have won without the China virus.

Speculation , maybe - maybe not.

Trump was still the worst most corrupt president ever irrespective of his incompetence with the virus.

Trump was deeply hated by the majority and without the virus would he have been able to get all the additional voters to turn out ? Very doubtful if they thought they were going to win.

Much of the anti Trump democrat vote may not have been about the virus it may have been there anyway. It could easily have been worse for Trump.

People in contact with virus carriers are known to have travelled in this period stopping in regional centres for food and drinks. You sidestepping safety measures is nothing to be proud of.

They have been averaging about 4,000 a day for a while now. 15,000 in 4 days is a bit on the low side. With Xmas travel, the riots and the more contagious virus strain they would be expecting another bump in the numbers for late this month next month.

Expect it to pass 5,000 a day within a few weeks.

Apes get it too:

At least two gorillas at San Diego Zoo tested positive for Covid-19, in the first known cases among great apes

By Cheri Mossburg and Leah Asmelash, CNN

Updated 2312 GMT (0712 HKT) January 11, 2021

(CNN)The surge of Covid-19 in California has just gotten even worse, after at least two gorillas at the San Diego Zoo became infected with Covid-19, the zoo and Gov. Gavin Newsom said Monday.
Three animals are currently showing symptoms of the virus, and it is suspected that they were infected by an asymptomatic staff member, according to a press release.
This is the first known instance of coronavirus in great apes, the zoo said, though previous research has shown that some non-human primates are susceptible. The gorillas live as a family, so it is assumed that all members have been exposed, zoo officials say.
It started last Wednesday, when two zoo gorillas began coughing. A preliminary test within the group showed presence of the virus on Friday, and the US Department of Agriculture's National Veterinary Services Laboratory confirmed the positive results Monday.
It is unknown whether the gorillas will have any serious reaction, the zoo said, but they are being closely monitored.
