As a legal practitioner you know very well the difference between rape and alleged rape and you would be very careful to distinguish between the 2 in a court of law. You related this story as a direct recollection of a court case you were involved in, im not buying your diversion over quotation marks. there are a number of inferences to draw over your use of quotation marks, there is only 1 inference to draw from your lack of "alleged" when describing his rape of the retarded woman.
