Pelosi slammed for 2017 tweet claiming 2016 election was 'hijacked'

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is facing renewed criticism over a tweet from 2017 claiming that the presidential election the year before was “hijacked.”

“Our election was hijacked,” said Pelosi’s 2017 tweet, which was not censored by Twitter with a warning label as many of President Trump’s tweets questioning the 2020 election were. “There is no question. Congress has a duty to #ProtectOurDemocracy & #FollowTheFacts.”

did she claim to have 1000's of affidavits that proved it was hijacked? Did she repeat her claims endlessly for months to come? Cheesy

In her case, it appears it was a figure of speech and never meant to be taken literally. Trump on the other hand was, and still is, adamant that the election was stolen and had yet to provide evidence despite over 60 court cases to determine so ... hardly the same thing fellers and that you think it was shows that you are either desperate or stupid.

The primary difference Clintons assessment was correct and honest. Trump was just telling lies that eventually led to insurrection.
