I read something from rhino's post way back that stated something to the effect of "even if you studied psychology for 1000 years, you could still end up being in the bottom 10 percentile". I don't know if that was supposed to be a demeaning swipe at my abilities. But, rhino clearly misunderstand psychology. If you were able to live for 1000 years, even a casual study of psychology would have you accumulate more psychological understanding than just about all psychologists.

Heck, I have done enough research on psychology over the 20 years to have me well ahead of other psychology students in any university undergraduate course.

Take a keen interest for 20 years in psychology. You will be well ahead of any undergraduate student doing their first or second year at university in a psychology course. That is, unless that undergraduate student also has had 20 years of experience studying the topic of psychology.

For the record, I would surmise if I spent the next year reading up on psychology textbooks I have around my house here, I would probably be well versed on any topic in psychology. It is just a shame that I have only read criminal psychology/forensics books (about 8 of them. Still have about 10 textbook-sized psychology books to finish reading.
