Plagues.

Plagues are dreadful, with huge death tolls. Yet they are not an unmitigated disaster.

With so many people dead feudalism died as well, especially in England. Some serfs and villeins just escaped the scene of their servitude, nobody there to hunt them down. Other serfs and villeins used the scarcity of those to do the grunt work of growing crops to become paid free laborers.

This went further in England for some reason than in continental powers like France and Russia. Eventually this led to the French Revolution and its bloodshed and horrors.

The Bolshevic Revolution in Russia finally got rid of the feudal system.

So—plague—not an unmitigated disaster.

Look... you obviously have had a sheltered life if (some of) the members of this website forum are who you consider as people having antisocial personality disorder. I have met psychopaths. And I have met sociopaths. Psychopaths included a former heroin addict who still acted like he was owed a mammoth living. Deflecting all his self-inflicted problems onto everyone else. Sociopaths include some professionals. And whilst it is difficult to differentiate between the two antisocial personality disorders, you can say that sociopaths are usually more inclined to be liars, lack empathy, narcissists, manipulators in ways to make sure they get what they want. Psychopaths are those that lack a moral compass. They do not care who they hurt. And they are more likely to resort to violence than any other group of people.

I have no understanding of any other forum member's mindset. And neither does anyone else understand mine. What I do know (and am required to understand) is that no matter how well my understanding of psychology may be, I will not be able to give a qualified opinion on the matter until I am accredited. And even if I was a fully qualified psychologist, I could not give a diagnosis of another forum member over the frickin' internet.

At least take not of the last paragraph.
