Well, I think I have been studying the topic of psychology and personality disorders alongside stories of serial killers for the past 20 years, now. I think I would have more than an intermediate understanding of the difference between sociopathy and psychopathy. For example, you have an oppositional defiant disorder. Even when someone agrees with you, you seem to want to make an enemy out of them. And you have some type of control disorder. You want to allege that people are always wrong as a tactic to control how they think things.

I have had to deal with atleast 10 people who had severe psychopathy or sociopathy. I do not think you fall into the category of someone with either case.

If I can break it down into examples. The character "Data" from Star Trek: The Next Generation is one character who exhibits sociopathic behaviour. Mimicking behaviour of humans for the ability to function normally.

The Terminator, from the movie "The Terminator" is a good example of a psychopath. Lying, manipulative, violent at a moment's notice.

It is typically wrong of you to think that the occasional books and textbooks that I have read over the last 20 years have been a waste of time.

A person with a narcissistic personality disorder is one who needs constant approval from others. I knew of a fellow who had a serious need to be recognised by others as superior. He tried to hit on my female friends and some whom were ex-girlfriends. And the few females around town that he did manage to bed, those girls want their 30 seconds back. The guy had a severe premature ejaculation problem, as he could not relate to females enough to contain his control. And his relationship issues would end very quickly, because it was all about him. It turned out that he was a closet homosexual, and just had to try and fit in as one of the guys by pretending to be straight.
