Your error: the issue is not MY understanding of religion, but the understanding of 'orthodox' theologians who pontificate on religious law, rooted in interpretation of ancient scripture, who are still living in the past, and preventing the progress of the religious organizations they represent, to unite behind the 'god of Abraham'.
