It isn't about the GST it is about the intrenched dishonesty.

howard the coward

The man who brought in the GST after going to an election saying he would bring it in. In comparison Paul Keating proposed it and choked on bringing it in. What does that make him? Wink

Without the non ambiguous commitment to never ever introduce a GST under any government he led Howard would never have been PM - never ever - not for 1 day.

Howard started planning to introduce a GST in the first 6 months of forming his first government.

Peacocks word obviously meant a lot more than this.

RIP AP.

Maybe the last human leader of the Liberal party.

Strange how he was living in the USA.
Why wouldn't he want to live in Kooyong
where he had been an MP in Australia?

Yes but his respiratory system did rely on oxygen.

Peacock was the Liberals' version of Kim Beazley - both decent blokes who never became PM but would have done well as PM had the voters given them a chance.

howard the coward is the slimyiest piece if shite ever to have walked the earth.

Cowardly to the extreme, he wilted like a 4 week old lettuce when Latham crushed his hand for insulting Lathams wife.

And in howard the coward manner, he didn't face up to Latham, he back stabbed, and white wanted him through every back handed, slimy and immoral process he could muster to get Latham ousted.

I'm having a party when howard the coward shrugs off his mortal coils and heads off to the deepest depths of hell  for eternity.

Now now Batman - I go well out of my way to not insult you even with all the opportunity. Not to worry I will still not go for insults.

Bit of a tip about fruit cake instead especially the Xmas cake. Try Spiced Rum to soak the fruit about 2 months before making the cake. Save plenty to pour on the cake when it is done as well (progressively soak it - but remember no cake and driving) . Others swear on using a good quality scotch.

As if taking a lie to an election makes any difference. He clearly promised that he would never take it to an election.

You don't put that much rum on it.  Smiley

What about some nice sherry?
