Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

If we remove CO2 from the atmosphere we all die.

Billy Gates, Elon Musk etc etc these people are trying to play God by geo-engineering the Earth, their wealth should be stripped and given to the poor.

If they ruin the Earth with these experiments we are all f@rked including these idiots.

Today we have 410 ppm (parts per million) of atmospherics CO2, only one other time in the last 600 million years has atmospheric CO2 been as low as it is today.

If atmospheric CO2 drops below 180 ppm vegetation will stop growing and the food chain will collapse.

I don't think Musk is so stupid to suggest that all the CO2 in the atmosphere should be removed. Has anyone actually seen the details of the offer in print?
Ajax is trying to mislead us with what is called "Confirmation Bias." Here are the details from Earth.org.

As a point of reference, pre-industrial CO2 levels were around 280 parts per million (ppm) and today, we stand at 410ppm.

The most distant period in time for which we have estimated CO2 levels is around the Ordovician period, 500 million years ago. At the time, atmospheric CO2 concentration was at a whopping 3000 to 9000 ppm! The average temperature wasn’t much more than 10 degrees C above today’s, and those of you who have heard of the runaway hothouse Earth scenario may wonder why it didn’t happen then. A major factor was that the Sun was cooler, and the planet’s orbital cycles were also different.

So the Sun was cooler, CO2 was more and magically we didn't get runaway global warming?

Meanwhile, Zeke Hausfather, an IPCC climate scientist, has this to say -

"Hausfather argued that RCP 8.5 had been used by some experts, policymakers, and the media as something else entirely: as a likely 'business as usual' outcome. The worst-case scenario has been blown out of proportion as the most probable. "

Runaway global warming died at the hands of an IPCC climate scientist. RCP8.5 is highly improbable if not impossible; we don't have the fossil fuel to achieve that. That's why a transition to a reliable power supply is imperative. The only candidate so far is nuclear.
