Pasco is NOT Aboriginal.  His family tree clearly
debunks his dubious, unfounded claim.  Should
he be charged with defrauding the public for
financial gain after getting rich on "Dark Emu"
royalties?

Check this out:

Bruce Pascoe, Very Much in the Black.

And:

Pasco Family Tree.

   End of story.

Where is you, Geoff?  We value your input - you present both sides of things, so be not dismayed at any who wish to view only one side...

One place on the entire continent where aboriginals had eel traps?

They made fish traps too in QLD & the Gulf Country & Arnhem Land.

Still very basic .... no where near sophisticated technology.

So piss off Bwyan.

Well Pascoe was smart enough to rip $2m in funds from the tax payers, with only $400,000 left. Plus extra from book royalties.
Sounds like he got it right.
As they say in America.
If you can't make real politics, just fake it.

Even Monk lied to rip Aussie off $60.
Fake it to make it!
Hence why Australian Republicans want an (Americanised) President as head of (52nd) State.

The Pascoe book of Emu lies is a best seller $$$
The anti Pascoe books of truth don't sell.
Money is the truth, if you follow the American Media version of Politics and Law.

Australian Aborigines were Palaeolithic.

The Paleolithic era, also known as the Old Stone Age, was a period in human history that began around 3.3 million years ago and ended around 11,650 years ago. It was characterized by the development of stone tools, as well as the creation of art, and the hunting and gathering lifestyle of early humans.

As they never - or hardly ever - had Flint, their stone tools and weapons were extremely primitive as there is very little or hardly any Flint on this entire Continent.

Most of their tools were wood and no stone as they never had rocks that were any good for tools.

Paleolithic people lived in small groups and hunted, fished, and gathered plants to survive. They adapted their diets to the local resources available, and the proportions of plant and animal foods in their diets varied by region.

The Stone Age is usually divided into three periods: Lower Paleolithic, Middle Paleolithic, and Upper Paleolithic.

Dark Emu puts forward the false notion that the Aborigines were Neolithic.

Characteristics
Settled lifestyle: People began to live in permanent villages.
Domestication: People began to domesticate animals and cultivate plants for food.
Stone tools: People used more sophisticated stone tools for farming and herding.
Crafts: People began to make pottery and weave.

Significance
The Neolithic period was marked by the Neolithic Revolution, which was a transition from hunting and gathering to agriculture and settlement. This transition allowed for larger populations.

So Dark Emu is absolute Bullshit.

Fact is that Pascoe put out a book on behalf of the 'for' and his critics have not put out any books on the 'against' to prove that Aboriginals were 'primitives', etc - even though Yuval in his book Sapiens does explain how 'primitive' Civilisations can be in comparison.

So until these 'experts' who pull Pascoes efforts down, come out with their own books of 'proof' - then Pascoe leads 1-0 in the score.

Put up or shut up.  Wink

Utter garbage.

So you make up fairy tales ... and if no one calls you to account to prove you're wrong .... it must be true?  Grin

Pascoe is a proven fraud and most of his work he put into Dark Emu, which he plagiarized has been debunked - by Dark Emu Exposed.

No idea why anyone cares ?

Maybe don't read the book - OH I see you haven't, me either.

I don't intend to read it.

Oh how simplistic Puddelduck.

If it were just a fictional book(which it is) someone wrote that would be good advice ...

but when it's pushed as gospel and placed into educational curriculums and Pascoe himself is given a University position instructing in Aboriginal/Indigenous Agriculture because of his book .... then it's a step too far.

Especially since he's not an Aboriginal and no one living has ever recorded anything factual about it pre-colonisation.

Fake Aboriginal Pascoe has become the next Fake Aboriginal Professor Eric Willmott.

Still makes him a criminal fraud.

You condone criminality by fraud i.e. rewriting history and racial appropriation?

Yes, ludicrous, like pronouns and genders.

And as if they knew in "Naarm" where "Meanjin" was on the map. Or what a map was, for that matter.

Every part of Pascoe's ideology/cult was disproven long before it ever saw the light...

His is a book of fiction .. not fact... nobody needs to put up any learned books to contradict it - all the history already does that.

Governments latched on to it as another means of driving a stake into the heart of Australia, by dividing and dividing until there's nothing left.... only a moron drills holes in his own lifeboat..... so these assholes must have a few extra lifeboats set aside for their exclusive use, no?

Think on that - the list is long... starting with the 'future fund' - a thing of the past once the Grappler government takes office... One People = One Future Fund!!  All under the same umbrella - no more special privilege!!

Now then - where's that 30% pay rise for pensioners etc to keep up with costs of living?  Oh - of course!  All those 'Boomer' pensioners own all the properties, none of them are forced to have a mortgage on their one home etc .... and the unemployed scum of today can live in Tent Cities until the local councils throw them out... send in the Troopers one two three...

Time for that revolution, I think.....
