Missouri Now Refuses to Enforce Certain Federal Gun Laws

Missouri's Republican Gov. Mike Parson signed into law over the weekend the Second Amendment Preservation Act.

The law (Missouri House Bill 85) defines various federal laws that Missouri considers an inherent violation of its citizens' rights under the Second Amendment:

(1) Any tax, levy, fee, or stamp imposed on firearms, firearm accessories, or ammunition not common to all other goods and services and that might reasonably be expected to create a chilling effect on the purchase or ownership of those items by law abiding citizens;
(2) Any registration or tracking of firearms, firearm accessories, or ammunition;
(3) Any registration or tracking of the ownership of firearms, firearm accessories, or ammunition;
(4) Any act forbidding the possession, ownership, use, or transfer of a firearm, firearm accessory, or ammunition by law-abiding citizens; and

(5) Any act ordering the confiscation of firearms, firearm accessories, or ammunition from law-abiding citizens.

Such laws, the new Missouri law insists, "shall be invalid to this state, shall not be recognized by this state, shall be specifically rejected by this state, and shall not be enforced by this state….No entity or person, including any public officer or employee of this state or any political subdivision of this state, shall have the authority to enforce or attempt to enforce any federal acts, laws, executive orders, administrative orders, rules, regulations,statutes, or ordinances infringing on the right to keep and bear arms."

Any "political subdivision or law enforcement agency that employs a law enforcement officer" who violates Missouri citizen's rights by enforcing laws like those listed above "shall be liable to the injured party in an action at law, [or] suit in equity…and subject to a civil penalty of fifty thousand dollars per occurrence. Any person injured under this section shall have standing to pursue an action for injunctive relief…."

One of the unspoken rules of supervising people is to never order them to do anything they will refuse to do unless you are prepared for a confrontation. The Federal Government was originally subservient to the States and needs to be again. What works in over populated big cities doesn't work for the rest of us! These intrusions in our lives could result in the breakup of the country into smaller ones, both free and socialist. I wouldn't be surprised if the puppet biden tried to get the US to join the EU. They could call it something new and just continue to absorb Nations until they become the One World Government the Elites planned for.

So far but they already ignore laws about certain drug use. It may be in their best interest not to confront States over this.

It may work that way here in Australia, where the rule of Parliament reigns supreme, but it doesn't work that way in the United States Brian.....you need to know that. The US Federal Government cant just waltz right into the States & re-write their laws.....The 10th Amendment says so......No Brian, in the United States they must follow the US Constitution, & the decisions of the US Supreme Court.

Secondly, in rural America, most Law Enforcement Officials are elected directly by the people, not hired by the government, which means they don't work for a government, they work for the people who elected them. So, if Law Enforcement refuses to enforce Federal Laws, by doing so they effectively Nullify those laws........A law is only as good as to what ends to which it is enforced.....making nullification thru non-enforcement the rightful remedy to repressive, & unconstitutional gun laws.

Non-Enforcement, when a local government ignores Federal Law, or refuses to enforce, or assist the Feds in enforcement, is a perfect remedy to Nullify Federal Gun Laws that Infringe Upon Our Constitutional Right to Keep & Bear Arms.

"As an FFL [Fed License], you can buy a brand new machine gun for less than $2,000 and have it transferred to you in a few days." At 500-1000 rounds p/m you have peace of mind against mortars, grenades and kamikaze pilots. Up-grades available when neighbours buy one also.

Muzzle-loading cannon Class B are freely on offer in Australia if used for the purpose of Target Shooting. Select a visible point at close range, wave a red flag and shout "fire" and touch the powder.
Choose from Belgian "Monster Mortar" (24 inches; 1832) or Mallet's Mortar (36 inches) from pre-1900 and so street legal.
