I think the point is....just as has happened since AiA, EL has been determining who votes.....thus controlling the outcome.

If it is the Members deciding that, let's see the discussion and the numbers involved.

(Edit: I admit that on one occasion, I too decided on whether a vote should be counted. That was one by Kiwi Dave (a sock) and it was their very first post. I would not have bothered but it was a vital vote on a Petition.)

Booby? Who the hell would be stupid enough to vote for Booby as EL? He would act as Body Odor’s proxy sure enough but the idiot will do something wrong and completely wreck the joint so it is not even the Body Odor and Billy the Kid’s Show anymore!

Booby also has form as being ban happy and will get mulish about it if members protest. I guess he will make BO a GMod? Not so independent.

Be real! If you want to run and keep squeezing the life out of it as BO’s proxy then do that. You might surprise yourself and find you are good at running the show. But the forum needs to be opened up or it will wither and die. Close to that now.

Does Booby contribute? Seems he just copies stuff from OzPol to there!

I have been trying to get BO (“My precious! My precious! Don’t let them take my precious!”) to activate the JM account I created just for myself. Nothing to do with Aussie who doesn’t think I will be accepted. But it is fun creating new nicks with a bit of a bite to them “Gerrymander BO!”

In the spirit of master Light -
I was actually prepared to forgive the transgressions
and iniquities of many previous posters and allow them to join up again and vote.
My only exceptions would be to stop sock puppet voters
and that only regular posters would be allowed to stand for EL.

That idea was not approved which is fine as
not everyone has the ability to wipe the slate clean and start again.
