Ya know, there is some truth in that. The original PA (after JJJ) was a benevolent autonomous dictatorship run by Dr Shrink and an other. It eventually ended up in the hands of freediver when we needed a server to keep going. I strongly supported moving to the umbrella of FD.

But, he totally misunderstood and misread and mismanaged the character of the place.

We had elections and we had a Constitution FD forced upon us. I was a strong critic of that Constitution but, it prevailed, so I resolved to work within its stupid terms.

When that turned out to upset what FD wanted, he made his fatal mistake and intervened with his buttons. He removed me as duly elected Admin.

Down hill spiral from there despite me being the ONLY Member to inject totally brand new Members (to rig an election...all legal) ~ 20 plus ~ who were so badly treated, they all eventually left. (If you want an opinion, ask a Taxi Driver.)

FD should never have intervened. He should have allowed his own Constitution to run its course which is what I was intending.

The only way that place can get ahead is by way of complete structural change. More of the same from the few current inhabitants is not going to achieve anything at all.

It cannot be 'bring back the biff' but something like that.

Yes, that has worked out well. No doubt about it.

Even you have said the place is dead.

So...what will you offer to get life back in? Anything that BO has not might work. Inviting people from here does not work. She tried that, and...nothing. The only new Member is Billy the Kid and BO swiped him from the Yank Forum.

I have bled that place dry with many invitations with little success so that is a dead end now.
