How would you know the effectiveness of vaccines against certain viruses, especially one this recent? We have millions of people around the world with the virus. Millions more who have had the virus. Millions dead. And billions who have yet to get the virus.
Then there is the issue of those who have been vaccinated and those who have not. Who are you to say that the vaccine would or would not be effective against a certain strain of coronavirus?

I thought the vaxes were all over 90% effective?

just get your affairs in order -
make sure your Will is up to date.

They are and the Indian variant doesn't seem to be more deadly in that it has a higher fatality rate, however it is more transmissible.
