Well, this is a topical issue, given what Zuckerberg and Dorsey (et al) are facing, giving the arbitrary way they moderate posts and users of their respective products.

Or do you think moderators should be allowed to make false allegations and be unaccountable?

You have misread my clumsy words. By gang....I mean their own little tribe and we have a very obvious little tribe here. One of their Members even admits they 'gang' up to bully.

Anyway, I get your point. Bottom line is that no-one moderates the moderators, including the GMods....we have GMods here (eg Annie Anthrax) who have not been near the place for years. We have GMods here who refuse to act on the most obvious of rule breaches unless the alleged rule breaker is one they do not 'like' for whatever reason.

So on this forum, the moderators are not bound by any rules of evidence of any kind and can act in a totally arbitrary way, including making false allegations to justify arbitrary actions.
